Using Email Marketing And Squeeze Pages

To succeed in your online business, you will need a large list. I'm talking about both a frontend prospect list, along with a backend customer list. By far the most valuable of the 2 is your backend customer list, but you should know that your frontend list can be extremely lucrative for you also.

So how large of an email list should you have? Well, I think you need at least 5,000 leads in both your frontend list along with 5,000 customers in your backend list. If you can achieve this goal with good old fashioned list building... you will find yourself on the road to success very quickly.

And you should know that building a large email list is quite easy. All you have to do is create something called a "squeeze page" and drive your traffic to this page. A squeeze page is simply a webpage where it is designed to capture someone's name and email address, so that you can follow up on them with some helpful tips and advice.

Typically your squeeze page conversion rate will be different depending on the niche that you are operating in. Some niches have conversion rates of around 40%, while other niches have conversion rates of around 10% to 20%. This is most common in competitive niches like weight loss, dieting, internet marketing, home business, golf, and etc. But you should that even though these niches are competitive, you can still make money from them.

Along with having a squeeze page, you will also want to include a sign up box for your email newsletter on every page of your website. You never know how a visitor will land on your website. If they land on one of your external pages that has nothing but content - but has the sign-up form on it... there's a good chance that they will subscribe to your email list - especially if your webpage content is good.

Now driving traffic to your squeeze page is something that is simple and easy to do. You have all kinds of methods, but nothing will get you more leads fast than paid advertising. I personally like using pay per click advertising (PPC) to get leads for my email list. The 2 biggest PPC competitors are Google Adwords and Microsoft Adcenter (Google is larger).

You should sign up to both and start running campaigns so that you can see results, and see or test things that need to be changed. But if you're going to run PPC campaigns, make sure that it's profitable for you. Pay per click can get very addictive, so you will want to monitor your results carefully.

Email marketing is a must if you want to see more sales and profits in your online business today. You should know that it's a great way to earn money in your business, and is a very reliable business model that you can count on. Take it from me my friend, I would know.

Good luck with using these email marketing tips to your advantage today.
