In order to get to $100 per day, you need to make a plan because if you fail to plan then you plan to fail.
So let's work out the numbers first. To get to $100 per day we could
- Sell 4 products at $25 daily
- Sell 2 Products at $50 daily or
- Sell 1 product at $100 daily
Points To Note: Aside from the price of the product, it must have a high converting sales page and it must over deliver to the customers. This will ensure that refunds are low and your customers are happy. It makes no sense to make sales only to have them snatched from you due to high refund rates.
Working Out The Traffic
Let's say the product you are promoting converts at 1% from cold traffic. This means if you link directly to the product page you'll make 1 sale for every 100 visitors you send to the sales page. In this case you would need 200 visitors to get to your target of $100 per day.
However, if you capture leads and build a relationship with your prospects they will like and TRUST you and your conversion rate shoots up to 5%. Now instead of 1 sale for 100 visitors, you are getting 5. And not only that, but you'll still have those subscribers to market other products to in the future. So in order to make 2 sales per day, you need to get 40 subscribers being added to your list everyday.
But it's not over as yet because we need to now know how much traffic to send to your squeeze page to get 40 optins daily.
A good converting squeeze page will convert at about 35-40%. However, to be conservative let's say that your squeeze page only converts at 30%. That means for every 100 visitors only 30 will sign up. So in order to get 40 persons signing up you need to send 133 visitors to your squeeze page.
So as you can see, building a list will always be profitable than any other form of marketing. Now to get 133 visitors per day everyday all you need to do is to focus on one or two traffic source and milk them to the max.
There are many ways to drive traffic and you can choose whichever you are more comfortable with. For example, you could try facebook ads, banner advertising, article marketing or forum marketing to name a few. The idea is that you should remain consistent and your traffic will pick up momentum very soon.
