How to Get Content Marketing Traffic

In this article, I'll share with you a few ways to get content marketing traffic online.
But first, what is content marketing traffic?
Content marketing traffic is a fancy way of saying "get organic traffic online from the big search engines because they put your content piece in their search results for your keyterm"
That's really what content marketing is. It is the process of writing content and getting it to show up in the search engines. It is the process of writing content and getting bloggers to link to it. It is the process of writing content and getting people, humans, people in your niche, to link to it.
And through the process of getting google, yahoo, bing, bloggers, niche websites, facebook, and other sites to link to your content and send visitors to your content, you get traffic.
By the way, as you are reading this, you might be thinking, what do you know about content marketing?

So what does that have to do with content marketing?
Article marketing IS content marketing. It is just one very small slice of it. And because so many people found ways to scam google with article marketing, some people think it doesn't work as well as it used to.
But just because the article directories themselves don't get the traffic perhaps as much as they used to - content is still king online. Content still drives engagement online.
And content is what people are looking for online.
So, how do you do content marketing?
First, I want to say this: there are hundreds of different things you can do to DO content marketing. But all you need to master is a few. So in this article, I'll share with you a few.

For now, here are ways to get started in content marketing:
1) Find 10-20 top websites in your niche that feature content.
2) Find ways to get on those websites. That might be writing articles, blog posts, recording videos, etc. Each site might be different. I teach this process at my website, I call this holographic traffic.
3) Start writing content. When I was building my content base, I used to write 150 articles a month. Now I don't write as many!
And these can be articles, blog posts, news articles, news releases, etc.
4) Get these articles posted on the various websites.
5) Use legitimate google-approved methods of getting links to your content pages. The content pages will be hosted on 3rd party websites. Your links will go to the 3rd party websites. Then the content pages on the 3rd party websites will have a link to your own website. Your website can either be content, or it can be a squeeze page to get people onto your list. Or both.
That's the system in a nutshell!
