Are you looking to take your online business to the next level? If so, then I think you will enjoy today's lesson. I want to talk to you about some of my favorite online marketing techniques that you can use to boost your sales and profits simply and easily. There are many paths to online business success, but I want to share with you a few main concepts that can help you out.

The first thing that you can do to improve your sales and profits online is to offer a sale. It doesn't matter what the size of your email list is. I've had a list of 60 people and ran a sale, and 2 people ordered. That's an email conversion rate of around 4%. This is something that you will definitely want to do if you want to see sales right away.

The thing about offering a sale is that, you want your email subscribers to be on your list for around 20 days. You want them to see the kind of information you're offering via your email newsletter, you want them to see the price of your product, and you want them to get engaged with you via your newsletter so that they can become "active" subscribers.

The "active" your subscribers are, the more money you can expect to make from your list. Also, when running a sale, you will want to take advantage of the "broadcast" function of your autoresponder. The broadcast function will allow you to email everybody on your list at once.

Most of the emails will be delivered successfully, and some emails won't get delivered at all. This is normal. All autoresponders have a certain percent of deliverables versus non-deliverables - so just roll with the people who actually get your email. Some people like to use the broadcast function all the time. But I think this defeats the purpose of an autoresponder.

An autoresponder is supposed to automate the mailings of your email newsletter. I typically have my autoresponder set to send out emails every 4 days. I think this is a good number to go by. You just never want to email your list everyday... this is the fastest way to have them perceive you as a pest. And they will unsubscribe fast from your list.

Back to what I was saying though. I think offering sales to your email list of subscribers (and also customers) is a great way to earn money quickly. You might have to reduce your product price by around 50%, but if you're offering a product or service that is taking up space in your inventory room and it needs to sell NOW... offering 50% for your product is a good percentage.

Now if you sell digital products online, offering 50% off can still be helpful for you. Explain to them why you're offering a sale, and how they can get their hands on your materials simply and easily. Holding sales in your business online is an effective marketing strategy, and I think you can benefit from using it today.

Take these internet marketing tips and use them to have lots of success in your business right away. You're almost there to online business success.

Good luck with implementing sales within your online business.
