Today I am going to review a simple system that will show you how to make money online by selling info products.
Info product marketing has to be the most widely used form of marketing today for making money online. My guess for the extreme popularity of this type of marketing is the fact that the ceiling is unlimited when it comes to growing this business model.
This has to be the easiest way to create residual income online due to the fact that you only need to create these products once and they continue to sell over and over again. Some of the products may include eBooks, training courses, etc. You don't even need to make any of these products yourself! You can either outsource them to be made or find quality products of others to promote as an affiliate.
Typically, when you are starting out online, the best way to promote is to find other affiliate programs or products to promote. This is far easier than trying to create and publish something of your own, especially if you don't know what you are doing right away.
1) Research and Choose a Product To Promote as an Affiliate By research I simply mean going to the big dog marketplace sites and start thumbing through the different top sellers, like Clickbank, JVZoo, Commission Junction. Sometimes you can even score yourself a spot as an affiliate directly with the product vendor themselves! One system that seems to be growing tremendously in popularity is the promotion of products through Infusionsoft where they are able to pay affiliates for both the front end sales and the back end sales as well making the honey pot that much sweeter when it comes to recruiting new affiliates.
2) Build Your List of Hungry Customers. The first step here is to tease and attract customers with your offer by capturing their information first. Now you can follow-up with them via email to those who don’t bite the bait straight away! What you want to do here is get a squeeze page or lead capture page made that closely resembles the sales page of the product you are trying to promote using the same headings and look. As soon as you have gathered the email address of the prospective customer they are immediately redirected to the sales page of the product that is logged with your personal affiliate link.
3) Traffic, Traffic, Traffic!
Now that you have chosen a big ticket affiliate program to promote, and have a capture page to gain new leads for this product, it's time to start driving the all-important traffic! This is the final step to my newbie get go method and that’s driving the right traffic to your offer. The best by far when first starting out has got to be with solo ads. Basically, you are going to pay someone that owns an email list targeted to your offer to advertise your offer with them. You will also want to remember the forgotten free methods like blog posting, forum posting, article writing and maybe throw in a video promo or 2 and make sure to post on authority sites, not just your own.
The major key to all of this is to stay focused and CONSISTENT no matter what process you use to drive traffic. Also never forget to follow up in emails which will play a major role in increasing your bottom line!
