Many online business owners feel that the best way to make more money in their internet business is to get more frontend customers. I personally disagree with this notion. The fastest way to start earning more money in your online business is to focus on selling to the customers that you already have.

Now this may sound ridiculous or crazy internet marketing advice, but before you dismiss the thought – hear me out on this. The people who have already bought from you like you, like your product, and like the customer support that (you should) provide. Plus, selling to these group of is free. You don’t have to spend money on advertising to get them.

These are the people who are the best candidates to get more sales from. Plus, when you attempt to sell to them more often, you will find that they buy from you MORE than the prospects that you’re going after right now! So if you sold them on a $20 product, and it cost you $10 to get the sale, you just made $10 on that sale.

If you continue this pattern, you will make a nice sizable income on the frontend. But what about the backend? What if we took each individual customer who bought the $20 product from you, and then sell to them AGAIN with another $20 product? Guess what?! If you get a sale from your backend customer, you just profited $20 in the process… for FREE!

So now you’re in the profit zone. And all it took was you sending out an email to your backend customer, and you made a sale for free. Now doesn’t’ that sound like something that you should do ALL the time? Well you should, because doing it, and continuing to sell to your backend customers will make you a wealthy person. In fact, backend selling is where 80% of your total online business profits will come from.

How do you like that statistic?

The bottom line is that if you don’t have a backend business, you don’t have a business at all. Your competitors will run you out of business and will steal your dormant backend customers because you have ignored them. Don’t let this happen. Start promoting to your backend list today so that you can reap the benefits of having a successful online business.

Create an action plan and get on the ball with your online marketing efforts. Invest in a good autoresponder that can email your customers with ease while you’re on the golf course. A good service is “Aweber”. This way you don’t have to sit in front of your computer all day and copy and paste emails to everyone on your list.

Your goal should be to collect tons of customers who pay, stay, and refer. If you can get them to do these 3 things, you will have the success in your business that you are definitely looking for. Don’t neglect your customers. Embrace them, take care of them, and they will take care of you.
