13 Affiliate Marketing Tips To Dominate Online

When I first started online affiliate marketing was one of my first paths to making money online. When I seen people that made thousands of dollars a day promote products as an affiliate I knew this was the path I wanted to take.

Like most people I live in a fairytale world thinking I was going to strike it rich without having to put in much work. I soon learned that I needed to do a few things before I would start seeing the profits roll in.

I'm going to share with you a few affiliate marketing tips that will help you save time and money and get up and running as fast as possible.

When choosing an affiliate program there are a few things you need to take into consideration:

1. The first step is to choose the right niche. I prefer internet marketing because you can make money as you learn the business. It's a hungry niche where people are craving to learn how to make money.

Some people say niche down to tiny niches because of less competition, but if I'm going to build a business I want mass appeal and be able to grow into an authority in whatever niche I go into.

2. Once you find your niche you want to start doing some basic searches for affiliate programs to see what is out there. You can checkout cj.com or clickbank.com for a quick search.

If you're in the internet marketing niche you will have an endless supply of products to promote.

3. The commission payout is going to be extremely important if you want to make a lot of money with less time.

I always look for products that have recurring payments and low, mid and high ticket products.

Most people just promote low end products because they think it's easier, but this is the farthest thing from the truth.

Find a product that has a low price point to get people through the door, but you want higher priced products that allow you to make bigger commissions. There will always be someone who will buy the higher ticket products.

Also make sure the program has recurring commissions. This allows you to work once and get paid every month there after. This allows true time freedom.

4. If promoting a one time product make sure you get at least 50% commission. Working for anything less is just silly. I prefer products that have 100% commissions.

There are plenty of programs and products offering 100% commissions because you're helping them build their list and company. If i'm going to promote a product I want a high payout so I can spend more to acquire traffic, build my list and to make it worth my while.

5. The best setup is to get a business opportunity that has multiple products so when people upgrade you get commissions as well.

This is why it's important to have a low, mid and high ticket product in their funnel. If the company has a good sales funnel all you need to do is get them through the door and the company will do most of the work on upsetting.

6. MLM's are much easier to make money in. People give mlm's bad names, but not all mlm's are treated equal. Having multiple tiers allows you to get pass up sales.

So if someone doesn't own the product you own then when they get the sale you get the pass up sale. This allows you to leverage other peoples work when they don't take their business serious and decide to license all the products to sell.

7. Check to make sure the program has solid customer support. Nothing is worth then building a relationship with your list and promoting a product that treats your customers horrible. This will not only lead a bad taste in their mouth about the company, but also you.

8. Look for companies that care about their affiliates. They should provide you with marketing materials like banners, email swipers, tips on how to market their product and mentorship to help you grow in the company.

Now once you have all these factors taking care of you will want to start promoting the products. This is what I do and suggest you do as well.

9. Create youtube videos doing reviews on the products and link to the products.

10. Create youtube videos about your niche topics and link to a squeeze page. Once people are on your list you can promote the products to your list.

11. Create blog posts and do reviews on the products.

12. Focus on building your email list with free and paid traffic. Once you have a list you can promote anything you want. This is truly money on demand.

13. Stick to just 3 to 4 core products you promote, but be on the lookout for other products that will fit your list well. Always promote high quality products that will help your list.

These are just a few of my affiliate marketing tips. The best way to create a full time income is creating a targeted email list in your niche. Once you have a list you have leverage and can make money when you take vacations, when your sleeping and even when you're not working.
