If you don’t love internet marketing right now, then you probably will in the future when you’re getting sales each and everyday, with order filling up your inbox. You can make a ton of profits everyday online by following a simple model of marketing your business and products online.

In today’s lesson, I want to share with you some of the most basic tips that you will ever need to know to make money online. If you have an online business right now but have no idea as to how to market it and get promotion to it, then today’s lesson is just for you. Here’s the first tip for having success online:

1) Get traffic

Targeted website traffic is very important. Without the targeted traffic to your website, it’s going to be hard to get sales. Period. I don’t care if you have the best sales letter, the best product, or even a celebrity endorsement. If you don’t have traffic, nobody will care about your product because no one will know that it exists!

So, make sure you’re up to par on your website traffic game. It’s not hard to get traffic. You just have to ask yourself everyday “how bad do I want website traffic?” And that’s it. That simple thought will guide you from being lazy in your business, to waking up at 7AM in the morning to get things going in the right direction.

They are: forums, article marketing, blogging, pay per click advertising, forum advertising, blog advertising, website advertising, Youtube, podcasts, and even press releases. If there’s a traffic strategy out there, more than likely I’m using it. Here’s another tip for having success in your business:

2) Build up an email list

You need an email list so that you can follow up on all the leads that you get. If you subscribe to the model of hosting a squeeze page and then generating leads that way, then you’ve made a wise decision - because this is a great way to convert prospects into customers.

The more opt-in leads and subscribers you get, the more money you will more than likely make in your business. This is just the essentials of making money online. Imagine if you had an email list of 50,000 opt-in leads, and after every email you send out, you get a 1% conversion.

That would mean that you would get 500 sales per day from your 50,000 list (because 1% of 50,000 is 500). Can you imagine the amount of money that you could make everyday? Even if you sold a $20 product… that would be $1,000 per day. I’m confident that you could live off of that.

These 2 tips for building a successful business online are things that you will want to do if you want to stay in business for the long haul. Do these 2 things, and you are sure to have success.
