1) Generate a lead

This is very important. This is how you turn the non-buying prospect into a qualified individual who might buy your product. When you generate a lead, all you have to do is communicate with them via your email autoresponder, and keep sending them tips every so often.

They might not buy right away, but later on down the line you could have turned them into a great prospect who loves your information, and can’t wait to receive more. Then you will have a great chance at converting this long term prospect into a sale. And the same applies to all of your other leads. Here’s the next step in the 2-step process:

2) Lead them to your sales page

After you’ve captured the leads for the potential selling of your ebook, it’s time to start promoting your website and product to them. You may have your autoresponder set up where your emails are going out every 3 or 4 days. This is fine. Just make sure that you provide good content in your emails, and that you’re including a link to your website in every email.

Whatever you do, don’t email your leads everyday. It’s very annoying to see your message in their inbox everyday - so don’t do it. What’s even worse is to send out emails everyday that are nothing but “salesy” emails - all geared towards selling you an ebook. This will cause people to unsubscribe from your list immediately.
