Microsoft implements Copilot on Microsoft 365 users. Google follows suit.

If you happen to be a Microsoft 365 subscriber, you might have noticed that Outlook Web Access now has Copilot. Likewise for Google (I'm a GSuite user), there's an Ask Gemini icon on the top right section of my screen.

When composing an email on Gmail, you get a "Help me write" thingaboo.

Chime in.

My Microsoft 365 subscription just went up because of this. I'm just starting to figure out AI, so I'm playing with it in Word and other MS products to see what it can do. I think you only get 60 credits a month, but I'm not sure yet what a credit entails. And, apparently, the pro version of Copilot is still the upgrade.

I read there is a workaround to go back to Copilot less Office, but I'm not sure if I'm going to try that yet or if the AI is worth it.

Yes noticed that. How does that work? Is it similar to Gemini?

How's your experience with the quality of the writing gemini vs. copilot? Both comparable?

Yeah, AI is getting more integrated into our work tools! Copilot in Outlook and "Help me write" in Gmail can really save time, especially for routine emails. Have you tried them in action yet? What do you think?

Interesting how Microsoft is monetizing Copilot! I've tried it in Word too--sometimes it's really helpful, sometimes it needs some tweaking. Not entirely sure about the credits either, but it seems like a limit on queries. If you find that workaround, I'd love to hear if it actually works
