How closely should I follow advice from AI?

last time you had it updated?

Why did you ask Claude to do a review if you don't know what you are doing?

The question of whether you should blindly follow AI advice seems rhetorical.

My site is about 12 years old. I made it. My last major update was about a year ago. I asked Claude because it's free, and I read here that some liked the advice provided.

AI tools are great for surfacing ideas you might not think of, but they're not always perfectly up-to-date with SEO standards. Schema is still important, you just have to pick the right type. Instead of ignoring Claude, use his list as inspiration, then cross-check with Google's own guidelines or trusted SEO communities. That way you get the best of both worlds

I did use ChatGPT to help rewrite some of my product descriptions. It was helpful but I did edits to make it work for me. In that case, I knew enough to recognize what was garbage. Not so much when it comes to SEO and getting AI recognition.

I'll check one AI's suggestions against another - I haven't tried Gemini - and I will be doing lots of searches on this forum, and the occasional question when I need a human touch.

Use AI with caution. But also learn how to ask it questions.
AI thrives on context. If you ask a generic question you will get a generic answer
Once you start feeding AI context. You will see a big shift in the quality of response.
The best example I can give is this. You employ an expert and say to them, fix it. Or you could employ an expert and have a chat with them for an hour.

AI tools like Claude give good ideas, but don't follow blindly. Schema and methodology pages are useful, but make sure the markup fits your niche. Focus on real users first -- AI recognition comes later. Curious what niche you're in; that changes the advice a lot

Well i think you should not follow 100% ai advice because it will give you some basic generic answers but the real results will come when you will get the real results on your site

It totally depends on you how and for what purpose you are using AI.
