There are many ways to get do-follow links as so many answered above but these tasks should be kept in mind-

Manual research on various sites with do-follow links - Manual research on sites on which you are posting your content is so necessary because some sites only allow relevant content for do-follow links.

Creating database of quality based sites - Manual research will bring you so many sites data with do-follow links, Setting a database is also important for such tasks.

Things to avoid-

Don't use irrelevant content - Don't post irrelevant content on sites. Relevant content will lead to extra benefits.

Don't add yourself to a trash can - If the website's full of crap - meaning it has lots of outbound links and it's content ain't too shabby, question it. Investigate further what the site's about. Look at all the outbound links it points to.

Are you sure you want to build dofollow links?

There is a tremendous number of garbage websites on the Internet today. And nearly all of them have been trying to build large numbers of dofollow backlinks for years and years. Google is aware of this and they will penalize your website if a disproportionate number backlinks come from dofollow sources. For example, if 98 percent of your backlinks are dofollow, Google will penalize you because this is not normal. It looks suspicious.

Getting Dofollow Backlinks is easy but getting high-quality backlink is not that much easier as you think.

1. Get Free Dofollow Backlinks From Comments- Getting backlink from comment section is old trick but it still works I'm not saying to get backlink from post whatever you see, find the website where comment section is enabled with do follow.

2. Submit your post to Directories - Submit your blog post in Directories find only rich directories which has high page rank example PR 4+

Example: https://www.somuch.com, http://www.allthewebsites.org/

3. Find the do follow forum and submit your blog post- You can find the forum and answer for the question with your website link to your site.

Note: Don't use signature in forum because Google will easily find out that you're a spammer.

4. Submit your link to Dmoz.com- Dmoz is a very old blog submission site it's pretty tough to get backlink to your site, if you get a backlink from DMOZ then your site will rock it for sure.
