What Email Service Do you Like Best?

I am currently with Mail Chimp which goes a pretty good job - however, I am having a very hard time getting images attached to any RSS emails I send out. I have used Aweber too.

My email list isn't giant ( 3,000 ) but it is growing a pretty good rate as I just started making email collecting a priority about 2 months ago.

While mail chimp seems to " do the job " I wonder what email services that are better and maybe even better priced. Especially for EASILY getting blog posts in emails with thumbnail photos.

Thanks

I use GetResponse. I was with AWeber 10 years ago. I like GR quite a bit better these days.

I prefer the DIY method it's more cost effective. I use a PHP script that sends 100 emails per execution and runs at short intervals using cron.

I have always been a fan of self hosted solutions.
With that said, your never going to be able to achieve the delivery of a higher end ESP like Aweber or GetResponse.
But, I have like being in control over the system I am using to mail, and have found a way to make it work nicely.
I think there is different applications for ESP's and Self hosted solutions.
For a list of only 3000, using an ESP is going to be a better solution.
Have you tried Mailgun at all?

I agree. GetResponse can also be a great tool. It's easy to use and it has great features that you can use for free. The messaging also has no limits so it is very helpful.

I loved the Chimp when list building but Aweber and Get Response are your best choices. Pretty much the gold standard.

I have used Aweber for about 10 years now and really like it. My emails seem to have a high deliverability rate and high open rate.

I also use the free version of Mail Chimp. That has been good to me. I like that I can import my own leads into Mail Chimp, whereas I can't do that with Aweber.

    I haven't tried any other auto-responder service.

I prefer Aweber. Very simple interface, and they now offer 24/7 support. It integrates smoothly with well known applications online, giving you 1 more way to automate another aspect of your business.
