I saw some sites but I don't believe them.

I would like to know your guys' real feelings about which are the best.

Which ones did you see? Why did you not believe them?

I found a site that gave this top 5:

      1. Moonmail
      2. Mautic
      3. SendInBlue
      4. MailTrain
      5. Dada Mail

I don't believe it because the actual user ratings of all are 3 to 4 out of 5 stars.

Most folks here use GetResponse.com, Aweber.com, and a couple others.

Both of those have good reputations and get the job done at a fair price.

You may want to check them out. I think both have free trials.

      Those are NOT self-hosted.

        Sorry. I missed that part.

Any reason they wouldn't work, though, if you aren't happy with the other solutions out there?

It takes a lot of time and energy to install, configure, and test software for usability.

I want to be sure it's a great one before wasting tons of time trying a random one out.

If you meant why don't I pay a trillion dollars a month for the service, there are a million reasons why. But is irrelevant to a thread where I asked about SELF hosted solutions.

    Hello,

Self hosted never works right, and could get you ban, if your on a shared server like bluehost, and your self host email system is running, it will show them heavy loads on server, due to emails going out, I tested this over and over. never works right.
Aweber or any of the big 3 only

    Thanks Rob

      Not relevant to me.

I have my own dedicated servers. I already know about that.

Please reply about which are best like I asked, not other topics like subscription websites or server issues which do not address my question. I think you just work for those companies. I do NOT want a monthly subscription.

      I asked about SELF-hosted solutions.

You can use GetResponce it is paid one but you can use trial for 30 days also. As have good experience with GetResponce so I am suggesting this for you.

I hate reading landing page ad copy. Can you simply tell me what it is? Is it Self Hosted?

Seems like you're just being rude to everyone that's TRYING to help you! Whenever someone puts a link up you don't even want to take the time to read what's its about, yet you want them to take the time to send you a message description of the "SELF HOSTED" email marketing site

The best self-hosted email / autoresponder apps are Mailwizz and Sendy. I use Mailwizz.

Sendy for sure. Can easily get it setup using this service,
    https://tjosm.com/product/install-sendy-service/

And it only costs pennies per email as it uses Amazon SES for sending.
