Difficulties finding Affiliates for Travel Blog

Hi Warriors,

I am new to the online world and jumped right in. I came across a book about Email Marketing and that is what I am trying now.

I call myself now a Travel Blogger - even though it is not a Blog, but Emails. Any other suggestions on how to better explain it? hehehe

I want to share my adventures from all around the world via Email to my subscribors.

I have difficulties finding the right Affiliate programs. It seems easy to be affiliated with Hotel Search Websites, Flight Search Engines and Car Rentals. I dont have a chance to come even close to TripAdvisor, AirBnB, Booking.com etc. because they only accept people with thousands of subscribors and visitors.

Do you have any ideas how I could start out?

    Hi,

I actually work for SmarterTravel, which is a TripAdvisor company. I head up the affiliate programs for the SmarterTravel brands and would be happy to review your idea to see if it would be a fit. As long as you provide quality content to your subscribers I wouldn't deny you entry into the program just based on your subscriber volume.

My advice would be to continue to grow your subscriber base with quality subscribers (those interested in travel).

Feel free to email me at jpimentel@smartertravel.com or feel free to reply with any questions here in the thread.

    Thanks!
    -Jeff

  • Hey there,

try to start with affiliate networks (like CJ, Admitad, or something specifically travel-oriented like Travelpayouts), they usually have enough offers available for even small-traffic websites.

Regarding your specific area of interests (email-marketing), I would recommend Travelpayouts for sharing links with your marker to gain commission

    thanks!

To get more affiliate programmers, you need to increase the traffic on your website and that will happen with a good content. You're a travel blogger then definitely you have lots of followers on your social media account, you can join such groups on social media and contact them easily.

Have you tried Travelpayouts? They've got lots of travel affilaite programs. I recently signed up for a number of them and I'm very hopeful, the site has some great pointers on travel affilaite marketing too. It's great!

  • You need to focus on traffic. Traffic comes only with good content than you can easily gryt the followers.
