Is it possible to get paid for getting LEADS Not SALES ?

hello guys...
I would like to know , is it possible to get paid as an affiliate marketer for getting people to fill out a form that does'nt make them pay money .
example : getting paid $15 for making people fill out a form . After filling the form they are NOT asked to make a deposit , and they immediatly get some type of a guide or workout program etc.
If that is possible please give some networks' URLS to work with .
Thank you in advance...

I've been promoting PPL (pay per lead...lead generation) offers for over 17 years.

I favor offers that have a make, get or save money benefit to them, as they have overall worked the best. They also tend to have the greatest mass appeal (will be of interest to a large general audience), so the potential exists to produce high volume and they are fairly easy to cross promote on the back-end.

Some of the verticals (niches) I have done extremely well with are: education, insurance, loans, debt, credit, mortgage, assistance, discount offers, homeowner offers, etc...

The bulk of the PPL offers that I promote pay $20-$40 per lead, but I also promote offers that pay more and less. You don't want to get too caught up on what an offer pays because how well it converts is just as important. For example, if you have an offer that pays $9, but if it converts at 2X or more of a $20 offer, then it will perform about the same or possibly better. At the same time, if you have an offer that pays $90 and it converts poorly, it may not even be worth promoting.

I have also done just as good with dating website sign-ups and pretty good with free trial + S/H offers. I also promote a very limited number of offers that are straight sales offers. However, I promote the SS offers on the backend.

Bottom line, it's far easier to get someone fill out a short form than to get them to pull out their credit card and make a purchase. So why struggle with trying to sell this or that, when you can provide free information that users want/need and get paid well doing it.

To get access to PPL offers just sign up to CPA networks as most of them have them.

One thing to keep in mind is that companies are buying the leads and they expect a certain ROI for their investment. So the quality of the leads is important. If you produce leads that consistently convert poorly, you will likely be dropped by the advertiser.

Yes. This is normally called cpa marketing. There are many networks with these types of offers (maxbounty and peerfly are two examples)

I've met a lot of freelance folks who only offer nothing but lead generation services, so yes, it is possible. There are clients who will pay you for the leads, it's just the matter of you finding them or them finding you. Besides, even if they don't get immediate sales, it's still exposure, one way or another.

Lead buyers are going to expect a certain ROI on their investment,

If you don't produce leads that convert, they will stop buying them from you.

The same is true for affiliate / CPA offers, as the advertiser will drop you.

Get Tom Addams' Month One WSO. It's all about that.

$15 is on the high side, but I have seen many in the $3-6 range. And that's in the gaming field--I haven't really checked out dating or other niches.

I'm not a fan of promoting low paying lead generation offers unless they consistently convert exceptionally high.

In my opinion, you want to promote offers that pay $15 or higher in order to get a good ROI.

There are exceptions and dating is one of them. I've been promoting dating offers since they existed. You can totally kill it with a good dating offer.

Before I got Tom's WSO I had no idea PPL offers could pay out even at the $6 mark. I am not a traffic guy or an affiliate network guy. That was an eye-opener for me. The pay rate allows for some interesting investment ideas which I had not thought were possible at say the 30 cent mark.

If you have sources for $15 that's awesome. I have not looked into dating offers, just gaming.

Yup, the goal is to drive high quality leads, not just push unqualified traffic.

Anyone can get access to high paying PPL offers, just sign up with CPA networks.

While having good paying / converting offers is important. Being able to drive cost-effective targeted traffic is what will make or break you. IMO, also why so many fail in general with affiliate / CPA marketing.

I drive traffic using email. If you don't have the ability to follow up and promote additional offers to users, it's going to be much more difficult to become really successful.

Additionally, for me, it's about promoting offers that have mass appeal (will be of interest to a general audience). This is because at some point I will need to promote additional offers that are outside of the original vertical (niche). So by having mass appeal, it is much easier to continue getting good conversion rates that generate decent ROI.

So many people here get so caught up in MMO / IM which is significantly harder than lead generation. I think a lot has to do with user relating PPL to low dollar email / zip submit offers which tend to suck. There is so much opportunity with online lead generation (multi-billion dollar industry) that for the average marketer, it's hard to beat!

I've been doing it for over 17 years and never plan to stop.

  • The biggest pay per lead programs are in home improvements (Especially Solar), financial (Consumer debt, tax, mortgages), insurance, and legal. Payout can range from $10-20 to $50-100+ if the lead is real quality.

Always ask for their coverage in areas ... some are states, some are zip lists. Many will say they are "national", and not be near national so wasting your leads.

If you find a vertical you do well at with an affiliate program, then go to Linkedin and you can find a direct buyer with better terms.
