    First thing.

You're going to get a bunch of people messaging you. Of course they want to connect with you: you have 300K followers on your IG. If you want my advice? Don't read any private messages or emails unless you know and trust the people. IMO: those people need to be friends you know and trust.

    Second thing.

The last thing you want to do is focus on monetization here. You'll be passing up a decent opportunity and potentially hurting your IG usefulness in the process. 300K is a decent figure. You need to use it wisely.

    1. Use it to grow your IG.
    2. Use it to grow your other socials.
    3. Use it to grow your owned audience collection platform (ex: email list).
    4. Use it as a seed point to set off viral reactions to your media.
    5. Use it as a niche-targeted monetization platform.

It's more complex than selecting a certain type of monetization and whacking it into your bio. You need to protect that account and (as I say) use it wisely. If it really is organic growth and your IG is warm (high-engagement) then you need to put together a strong strategy.

Don't just jump in by whacking down affiliate offers in your bio, or listening to similar monetization strategies from others. There's more to it. Monetization is actually the lowest rung on your ladder right now (or it should be). You mostly want to use those 300K to grow and accumulate your audience to owned platforms.

    Cheers,

    Tom

Your list. Your forum. Anything you own that allows you to collect audience.

I'm a big fan of collecting social audiences but you also want to collect them on your own resources. Why? Because you can lose your social pages and accounts or they can become less effective when the socials change infrastructure (example: Facebook and "reach").

A bit low on time right now. Hope the above helps.

        Cheers,

        Tom

Hi, @INGGroup. You can use those 300k followers yours to monetize your Instagram account. Before focusing on monetizing it, you need to use that number to grow your brand and to also make your other social media accounts grow since you already have a big audience on that account. With that number, you can think of making viral content too.

There are multiple ways you can monetize a social media following.

    Here are 3 examples:

Sponsored Posts: Reach out to brands you admire and ask if they would be interested in working with you. This partnership can take different forms. For example, they may give you free merchandise in exchange for you posting about their products on your Instagram feed. If you have a huge following, you'll likely get free items and cash as well.

Sell Merch: You can also sell and promote your own merchandise to your followers. Many influencers sell t-shirts with their logo or name to their audience for $20-30 a pop. Other popular items include mugs, phone covers, and tote bags.

Join An Affiliate Program: They are several affiliate programs that will pay you a commission for every product that one of your followers buys. Let's say you put an affiliate link in your Instagram bio for your favorite headphones. If a follower clicks on the link and buys the product, that company will pay you a percentage of the total price.

There are many more ways to monetize your social media following, but I hope these three tips are helpful. If you have any questions, feel free to respond to this post and we can continue the conversation.

    Thank you,
    Alex W.
