I too struggled with ranking sites as well as learning about SEO in the beginning. How can I generate backlinks for my sites?

    My personal favorite is to create original research. First, get in touch with journalists and influencers. Then, create original research on a topic that people in your niche love to talk about and publish your post. Finally, reach out to those influencers and journalists. If you do it right, you WILL get backlinks.

    I've done this for my own site and got backlinks even though I'm a nobody online and have a website with absolutely no traffic whatsover.

    There are actually a lot of methods to create backlink and you can search them online. Here are a few methods of mine so that you can generate backlinks:
    1. Guest blogging. It is one of the famous methods in generating backlinks. It is probably the easiest way to gain traffic.
    2. Mention an influencer in your content. Mentioning influencers in your content can give you traffic since the influencer will probably share your content with their followers. With that move, you gain a link and traffic too.
    3. Check other blogs for broken links and pitch your blog post so that the blog owner will replace it with yours.
    4. Use infographics as often as possible since we all know that some people are too lazy to read.
