Where can I hire writers that are fairly affordable and good quality?

Tried Freelancer.com , fiverr but quality its not that great or too way expensive to the point where I don't make any profit and makes no sense anymore.

  • Did I post on the wrong place?

  • Fiverr is not good you can't find quality content writers for that much cheap.

Try Upwork. Its one of the best. And also see how's their previous works before hiring somebody.
  • try the Warriors for Hire section in this forum...plenty of great writers (yes, including me). As for cost and quality, that's up to you. Pay somebody from fiverr or another site that has low rates and you'll often get crap that you need to pay another person to fix. It's wiser to find ONE person who is good and pay them what they're asking for.

  • Have you tried Onlinejobs.ph?
  • Check out OnlineJobs.ph. I have hired from there before and have had amazing results. I would just be careful, though. The cheaper the outsourcer, the cheaper the quality of content. They have a feature where you can contact previous employers. I highly recommend that you do this before you hire anyone from this site.
  • When using onlinejobs.ph I would recommend rather than posting that you search the users/skills and contact them directly. When you post you will also get responses from users willing to try and get any job regardless of their qualifications, which is a hassle.

  • There are many good writers based in the Philippines. OnlineJobs and UpWork are good ones, I agree. But I think, there are other companies where you can get cheaper services for the same quality. -Micah
  • I'm gonna join the Onlinejobs.ph bandwagon here and agree with them. Filipino rates can be very cheap. Just take care of who you choose to hire, although Onlinejobs helps you make it easier since they have measures to make the process easier, just like what DripRevenue already mentioned. They're quite strict with site members; they have something called ID Proof where the job profile is graded depending on its trustworthiness. It's not perfect though, but it helps a lot.
  • Personally I had good results with freelancers from India.

  • There are many content writers from the Philippines that you can trust. I am also especially confident with their English writing skills, since English seems to be their second language. -Micah
  • These are expectations I got from one of our employees, who has been a freelance "news article" writer for one of the bigger sites:

"So for content farms, the word count an article should be is pretty rigid, based on SEO guidelines, so how most folk do payout is they determine their budget, and then back-math the pay-per-word that would get them to that amount. [Exactly what I believe. Hooray!] For example, this article should probably be about 650 words, which puts you at a payrate of ~7.6 cents per word.

For comparison, content farms pay ABSOLUTE MINIMUM 1 cent a word for bad content, while sites like kotaku pay starting at 10 cents a word.

SO, a 7.5c per word payrate is enough to be as particular as you want to be about markup, properly laying stuff out, and so on, and capture the attention of people who actually want to do this sort of work, rather than people who will do it because it's available."

When you get into these things it's important to know the score.

  • If you have the budget then it is worth looking into Blogmutt. https://www.blogmutt.com

Quality costs but you get what you pay for.

You also need to know what you want before you engage a quality content producer.

    Best regards,

  • Let's try Onlinejobs.ph; Easyoutsource.com; Upwork.com; and some copywriting facebook groups.
  • As many have said above....onlinejob.ph is the place to go. You can hire for project based work or keep some help on retainer and have them at the ready.
  • Fiver is not so good for writing(rather good for proofreading), Upwork is kind of expensive and hard to get a cheap one..I've tried hirewriters and also not too good ..so that's all I can say ab this for the moment.
