Can anyone reccommend a free autoresponder to start with which can be updated later when I have say 2000 names

It seems internetmarketing and work from home are banned by mailchimp.

    Hi, @anne13. I am not sure if there are other free autoresponders like Mailchimp but you can try Getresponse though it is not free. It is actually of quality, advanced and it is a little bit lower in price than other autoresponders too.

    Yeah, you know when I hear questions like this, I have to be blunt with you. Usually when you are looking at free anything at least in this business, it is either partial crap or utter crap. I always recommend if you can not afford to invest a little bit every month into your business then just save some money up, even if it takes a year or two. Start when you can invenst a bit of money. I personally use GetResponse. They do have a version you can use up to a thousand subscribers for like $15/month. I know that is probably not the answer you were looking for Anne, just being honest and maybe others have had different experiences. That is just from my own experience and is my two cents for whatever it's worth. - Kent

    I have heard get response is popular from other sources, I was with Aweber which was ok but I was ill for a couple of years and had to close it, I lost a very small list so am beginning again. Thanks for your suggestions though, its good to have recommendations $15 sounds good.

    Free just means seeing your hard work go down the drain months or years down the line.

    Invest in yourself and in your online business. Start only when you are ready to do it properly. I've taken down my website a while ago because I wasn't ready to commit my time to online marketing, as I wanted to focus on building my new family.

    Going for the money online or offline, usually means time away from your loved ones.

    Most autoresponders have a free trial 30 days or more.

    If you have to use something free and have WordPress, there are mail list plug-ins and you could send the mail through Gmail/Gsuite and get good deliverability. You would be limited to 500 emails per day or if you get a Gsuite account ($5 per month) you can send up to 2000 per day.

    MailChimp is the only free one I'm aware of but they do not allow affiliate offers.

    I believe AWeber has a one month free trial.

    GetResponse seems the best option.

    It has a 30 day free trial and the first paid upgrade
    allows 1000 subscribers for $15 a month.

    When you reach that number of subscribers you'll
    probably be making some money from your list.

    As mentioned already using free services can end up
    losing your list of subscribers after all the hard work of
    building the list in the first place.

    Autoresponders such as Aweber and GetReponse
    have a reputation to protect which they have
    established over many years unlike free services
    where you don't have any safeguards .

    I would like to thank everyone for their imput, time and trouble, I previously used Awebber, ( but due to ill health for a couple of years I'm beginning again) I have decided on GetResponse. Mean while I have written a book and started making videos so a whole new beginning!

    I believe you can get a free 30 day trial with Getresponse (no credit card required) to begin with. Other then that, I can't think of any free autoresponders.

    Mailchimp is the only free auto responder. If you want something better then a paid autoresponder is the best option. You can try getresponse.
