How to get quality visitors to your site through marketing?

I have a startup e-commerce site. Its not re-inventing the wheel, as we are looking to sell our stock footage library to the creative community for a terrific price. Lower than competitors. We need to target video editors and post-production companies. Need them to search our library before checking out the more expensive options. What are the most effective online marketing strategies to target a niche like this? We are experimenting/fine-tuning Ad Words and Trueview promotions, but are looking for other ideas.

    Yes, that is what we do, sometimes books sometimes videos, whatever. Just give them more content than they expect and make sure it is true quality and something someone would pay for. Then just give it away for free. I like to do this in exchange for their email sign up and deliver it in email. This way they do not provide a bogus email address. They are also very inclined to actually read further emails because you have delivered something they truly wanted and over delivered in quality at as well. They will like and trust you. In a heavily distracted world that we live in these days, this seems to be quite effective, at least for us and I know of many friends that use this method as well.

    At least you have a focus and a target market. That's a really good start. Now start thinking like them. What Search terms would you enter into Google or YouTube to start looking for what you provide? Where would you go? Get in front of them there.

    When it comes to marketing there is many other ways to go around it. Influencer marketing for example can generate good conversions. Social media marketing too can make you stand you. You can join FB pages who might be interested in what you sell. I know, because I have come across many groups like this.

    Good SEO will attract the right visitors if you optimise the right keywords in your content, if you're using wordpress a good plug in is Yoast SEO. It takes some time to improve your rankings but is completely free so is worth it. You can use key word research in your ad words account to see the popularity of search terms. Im guessing if you are already setting up adword campaigns you'll already have some good key words that you can also use for SEO.
