Questions to Bloggers

I didn't write this thread on copywriting section because i think blogging and content marketing are different than copywriting, yes blog articles use copywriting techniques but they aren't the same thing.

So my questions are:

1. I want to create a diverse swipe file of good blog articles and content marketing articles, do you have something to share or do you suggest anything?

2. How much time should i spent for each gig? lets say i have to write an article of 500-1000 words in a niche that i have to research, how much time should it take?

3. How many articles do you write per week?

  • Hi Shanks,

To answer each question I'd sum it up this way: focus on writing helpful articles solving your reader problems. It does not matter how much time it takes to write such articles; focus on solving reader problems in 600 words or more, and you will be on the right track.

Writing one post weekly should work nicely.

As for swipe files, just follow top bloggers in your niche to get helpful ideas.

PS....I write 2 posts daily on Blogging From Paradise and 1-3 guest posts daily, but this is after practicing my writing for a decade

    - Take a good look at what your competitors do and you'll get good ideas

    - That should take you less than an hour to accomplish. It depends on the average WPM you can go for.

    3. How many articles do you write per week?
    - 2 posts per day will do. Your weekly quota depends on the days of the week you wish to publish entries.

  • Starting out you want a minimum of one article a week and don't miss any weeks.

If you start missing weeks it will get harder to rank your site.

With blogging you want to write as many articles as possible and consistently as you can.

This is one thing that helps with ranking.
  • Hi - can you repurpose some of your older blog posts? For example, I look through my older posts and highlight key words or phrases, then build another entire article off of that. Haven't run out of ideas so far, fingers crossed.
  • Writing article all depend on how fast you are a person can write, but that's not an issue... you can spend even a week on one article the most important thing you need to invest your time is the quality of the article. my advice is that your articles should go longer than 1500 words if you can make it longer, that will be even better, create images and infographics, and use videos all that will boost your ranking and traffic. make sure you use your Keywords well within the article...

    Hope that helps
