    Hi Bethany,

It depends on your website and your niche.

Personally? With a $50 budget, I'd take the content marketing route. $50 is more than enough to get started using a combination of free traffic methods and content marketing.

    Cheers,

Write a Kindle eBook. You will be able to promote your website at the beginning and end of the book for free. Additionally, they will be buyers which is always preferred.

You can get started with all of those with $50, but it won't go that far.

Check Fiverr. There are a ton of ways to advertise on there for cheap.

You can also concentrate on just Facebook or another social media site with a $1 a day budget.

$50 isn't much. Is there more coming later or is $50 the full budget? Really it's not enough to do much.

  • I don´t know your niche, but if you try to get traffic from relevant FB groups and Reddit you can get a huge impact on the traffic to your site. But don´t advertise on Reddit or in the groups. I would monetize your site with Adsense simply because it´s an awesome way to make money, and easy too

    Hi Bethany,

You do get what you pay for; meaning cheap prices yield cheap traffic.

Best approach; invest time, energy and money to start a self-hosted blog. Generate lasting traffic and profits. Take the long term approach. This ride is enjoyable, fulfilling and fruitful.

Do Not buy "traffic" on Fiverr!!

You might check out native ads. I get clicks for around $0.10 but it is "surfer" traffic and must be dealt with in a different way than other traffic types.

If you have an engaging, content rich site it can work well.

Your website hosting company probably has special offers for Bing, Google, Yelp etc. Hostgator offers $100 free Bing credit and $100 free Googel AdWords credit after spending $25. GoDaddy has the same offers and the Bing ones you can overlap (AdWords doesn't). If you haven't done so yet I would login to your hosting account and see if you can find any special offers.

$50 is a good budget for facebook Ads. Link clicks for tier2 conuntries in FB costs as low as 0.05$

Try working with micro influencers. $50 may not be much but it is a start and can definitely accomplish something.
