Best short term strategy to get a few sales per week?? (Newbie Question)

Hello. I'm new to affiliate marketing and have a basic question. I realize that long term I need to write good, consistent content and generate an e-mail list with a lead magnet to get a good incoming stream of leads and sales.

My question is what can I do to just make a few sales per week in the short term? I currently have a good blog style site set up with a Call To Action on my homepage that directs prospects to the sales copy page of the ClickBank product that I'm promoting. I realize I need to direct traffic to my homepage, but what would be the best route to do that?

I assume Facebook ads would be the best. Would I just include a link to my website within the ad and then run a few ads per week? All I really want is about 30 visitors per week since my product has a 7% conversion rate according to ClickBank's data.

    Hey that is great you've started online. It really depends if your looking to use the free or paid traffic method. The free method is by using Search optimization optimization. I am sure you have learned about that term. Now with paid traffic there are numerous options. Facebook Ads is only one. My opinion learn paid traffic that is a skill that is valuable in this day in age. Be careful with Click bank there is potential but there is a vast amount of deception.

      Thanks for the reply. I'm currently learning SEO but I'm more interested in what I can do to drive traffic immediately, which I assume would be paid traffic.

      Do you have any specific resources that I could use to learn Facebook ads correctly? I'd be interested to learn from someone who has succeeded with them to cut the learning curve a bit.

    Are you looking for ways outside what you are currently doing to make money with affiliate marketing, or are you looking for other ways to drive traffic to your current landing page?

      Hi. Good question! I am currently looking to take exactly what I have set up right now, and drive traffic to it. I am currently not using any methods to drive traffic to my landing page. The past month I have simply been learning how to use wordpress, outsource design work through Fiverr, and basic sales copy. Now, I'm interested in getting traffic to the very basic website that I have built. Again, I'm only trying to get a couple sales.

      Also, by "landing page", do you just mean my homepage with the call to action button?

        Yes, by landing page I mean your homepage. For the least amount of work, you will need paid adds, but depending on your niche this may be cheap or cost you some money. I would focus on Facebook ads and YouTube ads. I believe YouTube are the cheapest ads to run right now over Facebook.

        You can also go to social media. If you have accounts for your website set up, you can look for social media accounts with large followings and ask them if they would give you a shout out on their page. Otherwise searching through forums and trying to get people to your page (without being weird and spammy) will be your next move.
