Youtube ads payment?

Not sure if this is relevant for this forum, but I was wondering if anyone here knows how much people get payed for youtube video views (I know adsense pays for every 1000 ad views).

Also how does this work (I know you have to have 1000 views to sign up for this)

    about $7.60 per 1,000 ad views, down from $9.35 in 2012, according to TubeMogul, which buys and sells video ads. Ads are only run on a minority of videos shown. Roughly, a video creator will earn $2,000 for every million views. "And then YouTube takes 45 percent," the Times notes.

    First you need to have 1000 subscribers and at least 4000 hours of watch-time to be able to monetize your channel then the rate differs greatly all depends on the viewers I had a channel that had 370k views per month and got 40$ for that month other channels with much less views got significantly more money it all depends on your content and how much advertisers are willing to pay for an ad spot on your videos.

    It's too difficult to say as it depends on several factors, but it's average 1$ for 1 000 video views

    I had a channel with videos from Spanish holiday destinations. The majority of the traffic came from the UK (one of the highest paying countries) and I earned about $3 per 1,000 views.

    After two years they cancelled my AdSense account with no explanation so I was unable to monetize my videos. For me it was more hobby than a serious source of income, but it was one of many experiences in my life which clearly shows that it would be a very bad idea to economically depend on a third party service.
