Search Engine Submission

Hi

Being a newbie in SEO, I would like to ask all the experts that whats the importance of doing Search Engine Submission? Is it good to do on a regular basis?

    • Right. How silly of me to assume that there was a seed of logic in there, somewhere. :-) You'd think I'd know better, by now.
  • I can honestly say that with the nearly 200 websites we have put up over the past decade, we have NEVER ONCE submitted them via any search engines submission services.

    Sure, we set up a Search Console and an Analytics account, because you need to have solid data from the get-go, and we also submit a site map. That's about all you meed to do.

    If you want, you can put up a single post on Google+ about your home page and the rest of the site will be crawled just fine, and quickly, assuming you have a decent site navigation structure where all of the pages are linked to.
