Which website Platform for my affiliate site?

Hi all,

I work for a book company as an independent contractor and I'm also part of their affiliate program. They have over 50 books as products.(Physical Books, health & Biblical). They don't have a social media presence at all since they have door to door sales people selling their books. Today I was given all their product images to help my affiliate efforts. My question is this. What would be my best option to drive traffic to these products? Do I set up a website, pay for adds via social media or set up a Shopify store with these products linking to their website? If I do the website route, how would my company know that I got this person to purchase from them so I can be paid ?What do i do, im new to affiliate marketing.

Is there a specific set of books you want to promote? or are you going broad and want to promote all of their books?

Do you know your target audience?

The two genre of the books are health and religious . My target audience would be parents with young children for the story books and the health books are are kinda broad I guess.

For starters WordPress CMS has an awful lot of advantages as a website platform. This platform is excellent for the beginner blogger or online marketer.

    • It's easy to set up

    • Easy to learn

    • Easy to customize for your specific use

    • Hundreds of free themes and plugins

    • Basically free to use.

    • You can get plenty of WP help online
    I hope that helps.

I agree with Tony S, the best platform for something like this specially if you're a beginner is Wordpress. It's easy to set up and there is a lot of free support online if you get stuck somewhere.
