What courses would you recommend? I am interested in starting an online business.

I know Tai Lopez has a social media marketing course, Justin Cener has a t shirt bootcamp, and Tanner Fox has an e commerce course. Those are the only ones I know- just wondering if there are more and which one is recommended. I have no preference as to what type of business it is. I also know nothing about online business. Thanks!

Don't buy anything until you determine what you need. Clarity is key. You'll waste a lot of money on shiny object syndrome and blind hope if you don't have clarity.

The time to buy something is when you've identified "I have a gap here" in knowledge or skill, and the thing will help you bridge it. Not "Oh, this looks good and the sales letter/video is exciting!"

You need to know: WHO has a serious problem? WHAT can you provide to fix it? HOW will you get in front of those people to let them know you have that solution?

Start with those things. Don't expect them to be laid out on a silver platter, even if you buy a course. All the course will tell you is to go find out those things.

There are losts of courses available, but if you are looking for a step by step guide on setting up an online business i would start with a simple google search. Buying a course right now without some basic knowledge of online business might be information overload. Look at some of the other advice given to you by other warriors in this thread, they all pretty much say the same thing.

    Hope that was helpful.

    To your success,
    Pam

  • I personally think courses serve a purpose. When you are just starting out, all the information you come across online can get confusing. A course will simplify and give you a step by step.

After you get the basics from a course, then you can apply what you are seeing online (forums, youtube, etc.)

What kind of online business do you have in mind? If you're going to take courses then you must have a clear vision of what you are going to do and must be in line with the kind of business you are doing. Try looking into Neil Patel and Minority mindset youtube channels, you can get more information there that can help you out. Good luck!

  • Here are plenty of courses on" how to start your online business."

Use the search function on this forum to see which Warrior Special Offers (WSO) there are that will teach you what you want to learn about starting your online business.

You will see which WSO has the best honest testimonials from other forum members who have actually used the course materials, and have started their own "online business" from doing the course.

I'd focus on getting super clear on your niche. Then get to know a few top mentors in the niche. Research them, get to trust them, and you will have no issues buying the valuable courses they offer.

  • For courses, I definitely suggest video tutorials than ebooks. Only through video tutorials, you will see step-by-step clearly. Sometimes too many words will make us feel overwhelmed and confused.

I believe your first step should be to write down various ways to make money with a website (or a blog) and decide what you might like to do and what not.

This way you will know, for example, that you prefer to create a website about some of your hobbies and monetize it either with affiliate programs or by displaying ads. At this moment you will know better what kind of course you are looking for.

    1. Learn the mindset of a marketer - MOST IMPORTANT
    2. Learn one method of promotion such as facebook
    3. Get a mentor
    4. Build your brand through a blog and fb business page
    5. Experiment with free traffic first, before paid ads.

I made the mistake of taking too many courses, trainings, etc. Ended up with analysis paralysis. Nothing practical got done, no results. Once I tackled each one of those steps, things changed dramatically. I can get more specific for each step, but enough for now. Good luck!
