Amazon FBA - Jungle scout - Newbie question

Hi All ,

I'm trying to start with a niche research using the jungle scout chrome extension.
I have found a niche with high damned and low competition but i'm not sure it's a real niche....
i will give an example for better explantion :

"Cleaning rag" - this niche has high demand but also high competition .

BUT

"Hygienic cleaning rag" - This niche has high demand and low competition.

The question is if "hygienic cleaning reg" can and is considered as a niche? how do i know that i

will have enough searches that will lead to a list that my product is in?

Thanks a lot....

The broadest keyword is the one you are going to want to make your decisions around. Because, for the most part, this will yield the most searches = most possible sales.

However, if "Hygienic cleaning rag" is getting a lot of searches, and the numbers look good, then go for it.

Rank your product via "Hygienic cleaning rag" then you should be getting sales, and in the future, you begin to try and rank for cleaning rag.

That's sounds about right. Depends on if you have enough sales for your targeted keywords. You can always get to rank for higher competition keywords if your targeting works for lower target sub category keyword such as "Hygienic cleaning rag"
