Is PLR still practical and profitable for noobs?

As a writer, I have accumulated a number of unused articles over the years (I haven't counted, but there are probably at least two hundred) These are good articles that is better than any PLR articles I've read thus far.

I am wondering if trying to monetize them using PLR is something that is practical for someone like me, i.e., someone without any internet marketing experience or even a mailing list. I'd imagine doing this entails a steep learning curve and a commitment to a significant amount of time.

The quick research I have conducted on the subject showed that most think crafting or reselling PLR is very easy and profitable. I can't imagine that it being so easy.

What do you guys think? Is this something worth pursuing for a someone who's never tried to market a digital product before, let alone sell any. And is there really a market for PLR still?

Thanks.

    People like:

As well as many others still do quite well selling PLR. They have a reputation for creating quality products.

There are several Facebook groups for PLR sellers you might want to join. If you build a relationship with other sellers they'll often sell your products as affiliates. They will also ask if other sellers have products on specific niches that they don't offer.

It is still viable, though I doubt easy.

Easy and profitable, with just buy my s**t, added on, no doubt.

Spent years with that one, some sold quite well, and possibly still do, and most didn't.

Spent a year with one PLR site, downloaded about 30 gigs all up, learned a lot and cleaned up the graphics on some to resell.

A few sold well on Fiverr at least til their slave labour TOS came into affect, then they were all taken down.

You will find that practically all of the best ones, (PLR) have so many restrictions that they cannot be resold, only viewed by you.

And the good but old can be resold, but the graphics are s**t, (they are usually the ones l cleaned up the graphics with a 3D rendering software).

This can be done with CS2, but very hard to show the CD,s with it.

Cleaned up PLR works pretty well with backend setups, and sure you can buy some PLR book to get subscibers, but overall, especially with Adwords long list of rules, and restrictions....

if you want a list then offer a video series or e-book, perhaps and sell that for very little to get their name, squeeze pages are useless with current AD rules.

PLR is easier said than done, and getting AD, (Adwords) to cough up, is also easier said than done, (spent years trying to find kw's that would convert more than once, l couldn't).

In the end l got fed up with the PLR, can't sell great stuff and can sell stuff that looks like a 90's, throwback image, or crap looking in other words, and created some software, but same dog different fleas.

    Good luck.
