Best Place to Internet Market my shopify store?

I have a shopify store dropship selling men's fashion accessories like bracelets and watches. I haven't had much luck with Facebook Ads and I find it difficult to get good results with paying Instagram Influencers to do sponsored post. Do you guys think that Google adwords would do better for this kind of company? And if so should I focus on google search or google shopping ads? Also what is a good graphic to use? My product is men's bracelets mainly so I just have pictures of the bracelets. Should I add more to this picture to be more appealing on facebook ads?

    You're close but missed it.

Instagram, only this time focus on relevant hashtags.

You can do this for free.

Search Instgram for the latest post that are relevant (example: mens watches). Hover over the search results and look at the Likes, how active each post is in a short amount of time.

Click a few popular search results and open in a new browser tab, each Instagram post will have a list of hashtags in the right sidebar, those are the tags you need to test (use) on your own post.

Copy the hashtags word for word, be precise.

The list below is from an Instagram post made less than an hour ago and has 28 Likes.

  • Google search is expensive than shopping ads but more targeted. You can try both to see which one has higher conversion rate. Different keywords will also contribute to different level of success.

I would think Facebook ads would be a good candidate for this, but it looks like you have experienced challenges. I honestly think that would be the best choice. Perhaps if you can share details around the challenges you've had we can help you get through them?

Sorry for the really late write back. But yeah, I have experienced a lot of trouble with Facebook Ads. I test a few products. A few seem to be getting sales but then end up becoming unprofitable. I have thought about going to Google Adwords now since Facebook Ads doesn't seem to be working.

First of all, you are in a very competitive niche.

Second, does your store have a good trust factor ready to convert the traffic into sales?

Third, Fb ads are very profitable but very difficult to get going at first. It takes a lot of data and this is why I use other sources such as Google and Bing first.

You have to understand that Fb is contextual traffic, people are not looking to really purchase while on FB. Unlike Google where the ads are triggered by keywords.

Use Google and Bing Shopping first to make sales and gather data for Fb.

Also, your ad copy on Fb matters a lot. Remeber it is contextual, so it has to catch the viewer's attention and keep them engaged.

    I hope this helps.

I would suggest to take a step back and consider the long term viability of your store, and also what other areas you can investigate. I'm a big proponent of Shopify SEO, and it works great if you can get your store setup correctly.

The nice thing is much of it will only cost you time, and you wont be out of pocket immediately like paid advertising. It does take a lot of work and effort, but it can really pay of well in the long run, with consistent targeted traffic to your store.

Facebook by far. It would be simple for you to measure your ROI against a certain demographic, age, interest group or relation.

The same can be done for Google Adwords, but it would mostly depend on what your niche is.
