First Affiliate offer on Facebook Advertising

Hey guys!

I wanted to try and start a follow along! on friday i started my first facebook advertisement for a MaxBounty Offer for a dog toy monthly subscription box.

Heres what i did:
I chose my offer which pays commission upon the purchase of a subscription.

I created a quick landing page with ClickFunnels, it was nothing special. literally just a picture of a dog with a bowtie with a headline and the button that redirects the customer to the offer.

i did 30 dollars in ad spend over three days targeted to women in major US cities ages 35-65+. with most of the clicks and post likes coming from the 60+ age range

I have received 31 Clicks so far! feeling very excited to the results.

Despite receving 31 clicks out of 1600 impressions, i have not received any clicks to my offer.

I suspect my squeeze page is either not working right, or is just a piece of shit! lol

any tips on optimizing my landing page funnel?

so i kept running this ad with a new landing page, no i am receiving clicks to the landing page! 19 so far, but i have not gotten any conversions.

once this ad is up ill reassess and im thinking i will try a different offer in the same niche.

Im using clickfunnels, and i guess on facebook i have to put the url of my landing page for it to comply with policy. the url in the ad reads "myname.clickfunnels.com..." Is there a way to change this? im thinking i might have to create a domain to link the funnel page to or something to that effect?

has anyone here ever used adsector?

  • You need to get at least 100 clicks in order to gauge the conversion rate. The low conversion rate may due to the target keywords or target audiences also, so you need to test them out.

91 ad clicks after one week and 60 dollars spent, of the 91 ad clicks my offer received 24 clicks with 0 conversions

I wll have to test different interests and demographics to see if i receive a different result. To be honest i am not sure if i am able to target keywords on facebook.

I think i am also going to try a new offer this week.

My next question, should i register a domain name to host my landing pages too? i was running my ad right to my clickfunnels url then to my offer..... i dont think its very appealing to see "myname.clickfunnels....." as the url on the ad!!!!

anyone have an opinion on this?

You should be getting them subscribed to a mailing list. Not hard selling them. Create a customer base that is yours , and not whatever the wind blows. The highest quality traffic is your own. Develop a mailing list with your same amount of effort, and you will have your own traffic, and your own customer base, and many more opportunities to sell. Don't waste a visitor. Get the contact info... You can sell in an email series, much better, I might add.
