Confused About Bounce Rate

Hi All,

My main question is how the bounce rate is calculated? What is duration time which will be calculated for bounce rate.

Let consider one example,

2 visitors my website, each one visits only single page.

One stays on my website for 5 min and one for only 30 sec.

Will my website bounce rate is 50% or 100%?

    Three points:

    Google ranks pages, not websites.

    Dwell time has nothing to do with bounce rate.

    Bounce rate is not part of their ranking algorithm.

    The answer to your question, though, is your bounce rate would be 100% because in each instance, they only visited one page.
