Shipping packages from China: Packs of 3

Looking to buy my first product and get it listed on Amazon and Im not sure about the packaging and fulfillment part.

Lets say Im ordering 100 baseballs and plan on selling them as a 3 pack on Amazon. Do I import a box full of 100 individually packaged baseballs labeled and ready and Amazon grabs 3 and throws into a shipping box? Or do I import one box containing "100" baseballs with 3 baseballs in 33 packages and Amazon throws that single package into a shipping box?

Im sure thats clear as mud...

Thanks for any help

Not too muddy....it's easy to get lost in the details.

Common sense tells me - if you are selling a '3-pack' using FBA - provide Amazon with 3-packs.

    Or...ask Amazon?

I understand what youre saying but individual packaging for this item would be much easier than a 3 pack.

Ill try and ask Amazon, but I heard they are not very good at answering questions. I guess Ill find out...

      Thanks man

      Thank you

It appears as though they can just pick 3 if needed. Im going to look into it more and get this figured out.

EDIT: After reading that again it looks as though they need to be packaged as a 3 pack

I understand what youre saying but...

If you had already chosen an answer....why ask the question?

The page Rose linked to is a example of "Amazon help" - good info there.

What answer did I choose? Im sure one way is correct and the other way is incorrect and I dont want to ship it the wrong way.

If I'm understanding right then it sound easier to just but the individual baseballs then just ship three at once

Amazon can definitely ship three of them even if they are packaged as single individual products. They will charge a "pick " charge for each item, so it is less expensive to have them packaged in threes.

I would let them do the work, and let them package.
