What is the best way to approach an affiliate marketer?

Should I just send the product sales page and commission rate by email ? Or maybe try to establish a human relationship first ?

Beside having a good product, what are the points that can convince an affiliate to endorse your product ?

Thank you all !

    Are you talking about cold pitching someone? or do you have a previous relationship with them? Personally, I don't often listen to cold pitches, I think you're better off trying to establish a relationship and provide value.

      Hi ChrisBa,

      I don't have any personal relationship with any affiliate marketers.... So I guess the only choice left is cold pitching ? Any advice ? If you don't listen to cold pitch, is there a better way you prefer to be approached ?

      Thank you !
      Stan

  • Get a person who's really good at it and learn from him.
    This way you will learn way faster. People make good money from affiliate marketing but you need to know what you're doing as well to earn

    I would develope a relationship with them first.

    Or at a minimum send out the first communication just saying that you have a product that's converting well in their space and would like to have them look at it to affiliate it.

    Then send it to them once they've requested it.

    They will be much more open and receptive.

    The things they are looking for are;

    Total commission, conversion rates, and recurring revenue.

    That's what I look for anyway.

    I look at EPC, conversion and refund rates. Without these being documented on a platform I trust, I won't even consider a product.

    Also, for me, the commision percentage is meaningless. I'm only interested in the above.
