Bodybuilding Niche for Affiliate Marketing 2018

I was thinking of starting a squeeze page or blog in the bodybuilding niche as I can see myself writing a lot of content about that. My main concern is that bodybuilding/muscle gain would be an oversaturated niche for someone just starting out.

Would this be a viable niche in 2018 provided I put in the work?
Would a squeeze page/email marketing or a blog be a better model?
And what sort of products would be best to try to sell?
Thanks!

IF you can actually see yourself with the ability to write content.. then start writing... get a base of content in place before anything else, and the content itself will guide you as to what products will be right.

Allow numbers like pages views and time on page dictate, what topics are hot etc, and find product to match that content.

Hello mate, honetstly, there is potential in everything online, as soon as you do things the right way, soyou could work in this and still do it work goo, so if you want to write articles about this, write good ones, and make sure you post them on the right place, you will definitely make something out of it!

If you can write enough unique content, then why not at least give it a try? Don't over think it, just do it and see if it works!

Bodybuilding is more popular than ever before, so there is plenty of space for everyone in this niche

This is a very saturated niche where many of the big affiliates play in. If you are just starting out, you may want to start in a niche with less competition.
