I Created A Class And Started An Affiliate Program. Now What?

Hi,

In 2014 I recorded a class online called "3 Dangerous Words That Destroy Your Moneyflows"
This year I created a website for it and an affiliate program (through JVzoo) for other people to promote it and get paid from sales of said class. My website for the class is below:

https://www.3dangerouswords.com/

At the bottom of the page is the affiliate signup link. My question is this...

Now that I have the website, the product, and the affiliate program set up and ready to go...
What Do I Do Now? How do I get the word out so other people create an affiliate link for this product and go out and promote it to others and create sales?

I sent an email out to my list about it, what else can I do? Thanks.

  • I personally would start some type of social channel (YouTube, a blog) and start interacting with people in the niche of your class (course). You can give out some information along with building relationships with them. This will give you credibility and a good follower base.

There are many other ways but this one good way to go about it.

That title looks like a free blog post.

I probably wouldn't buy it let alone buy it for $97... or try to sell it as an affiliate because I'd feel like I'm wasting my time trying to sell a free blog post.

There are hundreds of JV and launch groups on facebook which is a good way to get a affiliates. Be careful about promoting your product there and read the rules first.

    Is this a joke?

I'm sorry, but I can't give any advice on what to do with this other than erase it and start over. You lose all credibility when you start talking about witches and their spells, a part of your body you can press and make money instantly appear and a phrase you can say ten times a day that magically makes money show up.

If any of those things worked (especially the one where you can make $5,000 show up anytime you want, multiple times per day), you wouldn't need to be selling something for $97. Only the most foolish of all fools would buy this!

Nobody is going to believe that nonsense (I had to erase the word I really wanted to use) and it instantly makes any of the rest of the pitch equally unbelievable.

      ROTFLMAO.

I only glanced at the webpage earlier.

I can no longer be a part of this, lol.

  • Not everyone believes what you believe.

With what you are offering, you will literally first have to convert your prospects to change their belief system, before they even engage with your offer.

Try offering something for free, like a free report/eBook/video etc, so you can build trust with your prospects. Possibility even offer one of the three words in your free offer, and sell the other two with some attractive bonuses to drive the sale.

What Dave says is true, unless your target market is people who are into consuming metaphysical information, speaking about 'hocus pocus' to make money may make you seem like a fruitcake to the general public.

Can someone please tell me where this insane method of displaying barely readable type came from? Do I need metaphysical powers to discern your message.

Not everyone is 22 years old with perfect vision. This ridiculous behavior is visible (well, barely) far and wide across the Internet.

I'm assuming some techno-dweeb, web developer has put forth the proposition that this is the latest in modern design trends and if you don't follow suit your site will look like it was built in the 1990's.

I'm sorry, but until people start using black text on their websites, I am going to simply click away, regardless of how much I actually may have wanted to read their information.

My eyesight is hanging on for dear life. I'm not wasting it on this crap.

Hey, OP. You may want to finish this sentence on your site: "Got a Business? Uh OH!: Not making sales? Learn how having these three dangerous words on your website, or even," although I'm terrified to think how that sentence might end.

Additionally, your "CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP AS AN AFFILIATE!" link IS invisible, until you rollover it. Hard to roll over something you can't see. I only saw it by copying and pasting all of your text into a Word document to make it readable. Why, I don't know. Do people actually believe any of that crap???

Time to give my eyes a Visine bath.

  • There are a few DANGEROUS words in that sale copy which would prevent me from buying. I don't know if they're the same three you explore in your product.

But, based on that, it's very hard for you to have any credibility with a potential buyer.

Now, I understand there's a market for affirmations and money spells. You know that market better than me. But I don't see how the sales copy is directed to that market. That means you'll get general Internet Marketers looking at this and not understanding what's going on - and your target audience just won't get far enough down the page.

Your best best is probably to employ a professional copywriter. However, before you do that, think about the product name and pricing and see if it is something that will sell to your audience. My experience is that negative products are difficult to present and sell.

If I was trying to sell this, I think I would reframe it as "Why X's magic spells are costing you money", with X as a prominent personality in the niche. It would help you get traffic. But, you might also alienate possible affiliates and you'd have to be willing to back this up.

Regarding affiliates, and this really is a side question until the sort the copy and offer, you want this information on a separate page and you need to contact possible affiliates with a mailing list or high traffic site directly. Include a review copy of the product and you may need to offer 100% commission, particularly if you don't have an upsell.

But don't do anything until you've sorted the product, offer and copy. I do think is one where you should take some professional help and invest in the areas that aren't your strengths.

How much does your product cost? How much do affiliates get?

Are you qualified to give a course on "moneyflows"? How have you created your email list you're going to be marketing to? I'd be more worried about that right now than affiliate commissions

  • It is not easy to set up an affiliate marketing campaign. Proper Strategy should be made and for a successful affiliate marketing business, one needs to put in hard work with the guidance of industry professionals. Create interesting videos using online tool and post that video with reference to your website on various platforms. The content of the video should be interesting for users.
