What have you tried as far as driving traffic?

Have you researched and acted on any of the thousands of posts we have here about getting traffic?

Taking the counter off of the social media share icons may be beneficial in the beginning. When I see that no one has shared anything, I question the worth of the site and am more likely to leave without exploring more.

write keyword enriched articles, post them on the facebook page, groups, twitter, focus mainly on SEO article writing, I have not tried any paid tactics. Have tried my hand backlinking whenever I get time.

Just posting to Facebook or Twitter and expecting something positive to happen is like just building a website and expecting people to find it.

People seem to completely forget the "social" part of social networks. You have to reach out to the leaders in your niche space on those networks. You have to start by following them. A percentage of those people will automatically follow you back.

Then, you need to start engaging with their posts. The more you engage with the leaders in your niche on their social networks, the more your name gets out there. A percentage of those that follow those leaders will decide to check out your social page and start following you. Then, some that follow those followers will follow you (and the snowball begins to build with followers of followers of followers of followers).

Bottom Line: Social networks only work well if you have real followers and you don't get them until you start engaging with the people on social networks that already have an audience that you would also like to have.

getting traffic is tricky to many but for others its easier. many go for free traffic while others go for paid traffic.apart from those two ways others go to software that are designed in a manner that enable you to get traffic from free traffic very easily and also auto-generate the best keyword to rank your content on the first page of google and other search engines

    Hi Rakesh!

Your site looks a little busy to me. But I looked at some of your articles and they remind me of the review sites i used to make.

You can post the articles you made to your fb page for that site and make sure you have that fb page liking other pages. That is where i would start.

I feel you need longer posts in order to get good SEO traffic...

The other place i would recommend if you have the guts would be making videos and putting them on youtube.

Whichever idea you go with, I would create a plan of sticking to that until you get a solid flow of traffic before moving to a new traffic source. Bouncing around will slow down results and you will feel like you are getting nowhere.

Make your post or video, share it, repeat.

    Good luck Rakesh!

The best advise would be to model success, go look at other big sites in your niche and reverse engineer their sources of traffic, for this you could use sites like alexa, after this use the same source of traffic, do not research for ways to do what has already been done, these sites spend millions researching where to get the best traffic, where to put images and what type of images or videos to put on their sites, model them and it will be a walk in the park.
if there is a particular guru in your field you want to be like just rinse and repeat. The results will inevitably come because you are using methods that have already been proved to work.

I visited your website, and it's not very targeted.

    -

What are you trying to promote? What's your main message?
    -

Remember, there is no free traffic. You either involve time or money to drive to your websites. Where are your targeted people gather at?

    -

Dig out those Facebook group and mingle with your targeted customers.

Yes, the main point should be the content. Even if the product is boring, the content is what defines it.

Hi Rakesh, I looked at your website and the overall design is good but it may need to be more targeted in its approach. Having technology as the website theme might be too broad a topic. Being more targeted will help you decided who to go after to get traffic to your site and what affiliate products to offer.
Also, have you looked at Clickbank or JVZOO for affiliate products?
Starting with solo ads to start building a list is a good idea as well as being engaged in social media as other members have suggested.
I'll send you a private message with something that may help too.

    Good luck in your endeavors!

  • Hi,
I have checked your website and found that you have provided valuable articles for readers. You should concentrate on improving your On Page SEO. One of the point that I have noticed is that there is no internal linking among your articles. Build a strong strategy of internal linking which helps the users to navigate from one article to other related article. This will make your website structure strong. For Affiliate Marketing or Internet marketing tips, follow our blog

The way you have described about your blog, I would sincerely recommend you to make some good, practical videos for YouTube. I have a few technology related blogs and I regularly upload videos in my niche giving practical advice ("How to" kind of stuff). YouTube is still the best source of organic and free traffic. Also, use a landing page link in the description of your video instead of giving the link of your blog. Combination of YouTube and email marketing has done wonders to my websites / blogs.

Have you looked at what your competition is doing? You could start with that, to get an idea of what's working.

How much traffic do you get? How new is the site?

If it's too new and still growing, you may want to focus on that opposed to trying to monetize it. I find it's often better to grow your site and audience then once you have a steady inflow, then look at making money from it.

You can start off with finding other bloggers in your niche and began commenting on them with your name, email and blog links.

Other ways to drive traffic are finding and interacting in forums like this one, Facebook groups, Meetup groups and social media channels like Facebook fanpages, Google Plus, Pinterest, Twitter and Youtube platforms.

I have checked your site, the site looks good but has a few suggestions.

    - Avoid using too many tags these tags create nuisance pages.
    - I noticed on your site that article schema markup is not implemented correctly. In article markup author property is missing which required, you can mention your blog name there.
    - Also, Breadcrumb markup is not implemented correctly.

Now lets come to your question:

    - If you want to drive traffic to your site and keep it up for long lasting you must you will must have to create a content on topics or terms (Keywords) having a good number of monthly search volume.
    - Decide your targeted keywords and then look for competitors what they are doing.
    - Plan-link building strategy for the pages you create.
    - Make sure the content you create is link worthy. Quantity cannot beat Quality, so you must create a quality content to which others will like to link.
    - And, yeah, of course, social media is equally important beside FaceBook, Twitter, G+, Linkedin also use Reddit and Quora there are few more quality social sites.

    I hope this will help.

First of all it's better you change your pop up for lead generation: as an example you have to give something in exchange for the mail, maybe a guide or something related.

Than you can import the group of emails you collected to facebook, and build a lookalike audience, advertise new articles to this audience and gain more subscribers and traffic.

the new subscribers you get will reinforce the existent audience and you will get more traffic.
