Resources for in-depth niche/product research for ecommerce?
I'm interested in ecommerce only, maybe using the Shopify platform
What I'm beginning to notice is that most of ecommerce tutorials gloss over the research portion of finding products to test. Thus far, it seems like there's a plethora of detailed information on stuff like email marketing, conversion optimization, customer engagement etc which is great, I enjoy reading it but it's not actionable for me just yet.
At this point, I want to learn about piggybacking on existing niches, spotting trending products, doing keyword research on your own ideas. I don't want someone to just tell me a product that the market could benefit from, I want to learn how to do this myself.
Where can I find actual useful information on this?
