Dear All,
I would like to learn easy steps on how can I start blogging from A to Z. I am interested in the general topics my two favourites are food and politics. If I like the two (Food & Politics) do I need to open two blogs, or I can join them in one.

Thank you have a beautiful day.

Let's start with why. What's the reason you want to start blogging?

For example, do you want to build an audience so you can eventually sell them products or services?

Is it to satisfy an urge to write about your favourite topics?

    Give us some background.

Thank you, Frank, for your reply

I want to write about my favourite topics and regarding the audience yes, of course, I would like to have people read and communicate with what I like.

Are you planning to feed yourself eventually from the monthly passive income streams, that your blog can potentially generate?

It's all good and well to write about what you love, as there are many "starving artists" out there, with blogs that aren't making any money for them at all.

If your intention is to just post articles about what politicians eat on your blog, then you may be onto something, in order to get the conversation going with your audience. People love to gossip.

"Hey did you see that President Trump had cornflakes with his bacon and eggs this morning!?!"

If your true intention for blogging is to make money online, like most of the multi-millionaire blogging communities out there, then you should pic a niche of a starving audience, hungry and gladly will to pay for what you have to offer them, then you have a sustainable online business.

Next time you read someone else's blog, try to see what the blogger is offering you to buy, at the end of his/her new blog post. Usually established blogs are extremely well monetized.

People who are involved in politics have to eat. Not all foodies care about politics, as politics can make it very hard to keep your food down.

    Pick one.

Knowing why is the starting point Imad.

Tie the reason to something fun and freeing to see the journey through.

Pick 1 topic. The world loves specialists. Generalists? Not so much. Pick whichever topic you feel most passionate about, food or politics, and go from there.

Pick 1 to 3 top level blogging tips bloggers to follow. Guys like Darren Rowse at Pro Blogger or Matthew Loomis at Build Your Own Blog Dot Net or....well.....you know. Anybody who maybe retired to a life of island hopping through smart blogging.

Shameless sales pitch from the "Just give everything away free" guy. What a shocker!

      either food blog or politics
If the ultimate goal is to make money then pick the one that is most easily monetized. You can always build more blogs in the future and the first one is rarely successful.

Also, it would be beneficial to learn to tell the difference between advice and thinly veiled sales pitches.

It seems weird to combine two totally different topics in one blog site.

Thank you for your reply. Your are right. I think will start with two blogs and I will see this step to which point will lead me, either food blog or politics

It's better to start with one and not to mix.

It's hard enough to run one blog, successfully. You won't find many people that actually do. I'd think long and hard about starting two, from scratch.

I would break them up, they don't seem even closely related. Likely 2 different demographics.
