Training Ideas for Sales Team on Marketing Strategies

Hi all! I market for a portable building company. We have an upcoming sales meeting and I am to present some new ideas to our sales staff. They have their own sales locations and run Facebook pages. I am in desperate need of some ideas on how to go about training a sales team on marketing strategies. I am by no means an expert and I just try to share tips and tricks. I have created detailed papers on how to schedule Facebook posts, How to invite people to like your FB page, that sort of thing. Is there anything that I can do to really put my portion of the meeting above my usual output. Any tips, hints, suggestions are very welcome! Thank You.

This is confusing. Why would you be asked to make a marketing presentation for your company, when you don't know any marketing strategies? There would seem to be little point in lecturing sales staff who already run their own FB pages on how to invite people or schedule posts. Perhaps you could expand on those "tips and tricks" you have. Or maybe hire an expert for the day.

    If I've misunderstood, please advise.

Thank you for the comment. I understand why this would be confusing. I am not a "beginner" in marketing. I should have just omitted the "I am by no means an expert" comment. I simply needed a sounding board to bounce off a few ideas to get me going. The sales staff are not proficient in running their pages and there is so much more they could be doing. That is why I will be helping to guide them. Sorry for the confusing. And I appreciate your comment. I will be presenting them with a few useful websites that I myself use for content, make sure they are correctly asking for reviews, ideas on leads, improving quality on FB videos and photos, fresh ideas for FB posts, talk about growth goals. That basically sums it up.

I would tell them to focus more on the demographics of their customers in their respective locations. Sometimes it can be helpful for the page to post a poll asking for what the followers think of certain things so they can get a general idea of what there followers.
