You don't need to, but you should.

Wordpress is a good tool and has many plugins, but at the end of the day, the more you know, the better off you will be. I strongly recommend to start learning the basics at least.

  • Yes, but you just need to know the basic. You can outsource the website design to others and sometimes you may want to do slight amendments your own.

Learning basic HTML Kiran will do worlds of good for you. But it is not completely necessary buddy; easier to learn a few key pointers, then to focus on using Wordpress to spread your word and to market your opportunity.

I'd definitely learn HTML. It comes in super handy in a variety of situations where the platform you are using (in this case, WordPress) falls short at times. CSS only becomes important if you feel the need to change stylistic page elements and probably isn't essential (good to know, though).

Both myself and my brothers learned HTML quickly and easily from w3schools.com. They have free online courses in everything website related with "Try it Yourself" buttons that make learning easy. I think I completed the entire HTML course in less than 8 hours.

Absolutely not. If you learn to use WP with some proficiency, on those rare occasions that you need to employ some HTML or CSS if will be easy to pay a few dollars to outsource those particular tasks.

Don't complicate your life and throw up more obstacles to taking concrete action by convincing yourself that you are not ready to begin your journey because you are lacking in areas that you may never need.

I have never needed any HTML other than placing a line of code in a page head which you can easily do via cPanel. On the rare occasion where I have needed CSS (actually, it was more 'wanted' than needed) I was able to get the job done for $10.

People who know HTML and CSS will tell you it's important. Those who have made a living without those skills will assure you that they are not a prerequisite for success.

Start your journey. If you constantly encounter situations where not knowing HTML and CSS is becoming a major obstacle to your success, THEN deal with the issue. I truly doubt that situation will arise. Time is money. Try to determine how many $10 fees you will have to pay in exchange for you spending your time doing something else, before the cost/benefit analysis goes upside down.

    I'm betting it never will.

    Hey There,

I would say, that WordPress is a good thing to know and to learn. Although, there are page Builders such as instabuilder, optimize press, Etc. that will cut that learning curve in half. Although then you would have to learn how to use the page builder itself but that is easily doable as well because most come with a members area and very easy videos to follow.

All in all with that said above, YouTube and Google will be your friend.

When I first started out, I had no money to outsource, so I bought Instabuilder 1.0 when it first came out. A learning curve yes, but the videos helped. When I needed clarification , and did not want to wait for support. Straight to YouTube and Google, and was able to figure it out.

Don't stress, I fell many timesin figuring it all out, but always got up. The same may apply to you, and as long as you stick with it. What seemed confusing in the beginning, will now seem natural.

I think you can learn the basics of HTML and CSS quite easily.

It may come in handy in a variety of situations in Internet Marketing.

It's not extremely important but may come in handy and it's easy to learn the basics.

If it's not extremely important there's no reason to devote a minute of time to learning it. The truth is, it's not the least bit important.

It's not as if you can't find someone to handle the rare occasion that you need something done, while you concentrate on what it is, you do best.

This type of thinking, that you need to learn and know everything, knocks people off of their game and slows down their progress. Why stop at HTML and CSS?

      Think about it.

You are not forced to learn because you can outsource it, but it is an advantage.
