There no requirement. Simply look for places that allows you to promote your affiliate link directly like classified ads, some forums (excluding WF), guest blogging, Facebook and many more.

To get more list use the search function of this forum and also Google to get a broader view and ideas on how to directly promote an affiliate link.

The best ways to promote your affiliate links are by creating a blog, writing quality articles to attract readership and only sprinkle affiliate links throughout in order to not make a website look tacky.

Yes Josh no NEED to have a blog....BUT you want the blog for promoting, for building trust, and for generating appreciable sales.

Here's why buddy; blogging proves you know what you are talking about, because you share free content displaying your expertise. People see your expert status, then trust you, the affiliate product, click link and buy.

Building expertise takes months to years. As it should. To weed out lazy marketers LOL.

There isn't really a minimum requirement. I find this is a very low cost of entry industry.

What is your plan? What niche are you looking at promoting?

If you want to be an affiliate you need to know what you want to promote and create a funnel with it. Right now on the adult industry the social media are very srtong, take a snapchat account or instagram account with cute girls and shoutout to your next account and end up on the offer. You need to target your audience, your counrty according to your product. You also need to partner up with the best affiliate network, they are there to advice you and help you make more money. You usualy can be paid by the leads or the conversion depending on your kind of traffic.

  • It is better to have a hosting account for your blog or website so that you have full control on your marketing effort and also for long term success.

    do some organic SEO.
*If you don't have a website, you can post your affiliate links on article websites like ezine.
*Post your affiliate links in forums.
*Post your affiliate links in social networks.
*Advertise to an audience that is already looking for your product category.
*Another words - You want to post affiliate links that are related to the topic you are gearing towards.
*Its important to show your expertise to the readers or potential customers. I suggest starting a blog or website. You can get a free website at tons of places. I even give free hosting options if you check out my website. Ad free too!
*If you get a free host, try to find one that will give you full rights to your material with no ads.
*I recommend having your own website or blog you can direct your customers to - it's very important to win your customers over through your expertise in the subject you are gearing things towards.
*Don't gear your material with lots of categories. Find a category , subject, or topic that you're an expert in. And stick with it.
*The most successful affiliate marketers are the ones who stick with a certain subject they know a lot about. This helps you win your readers over.
*Trust is the most important part about selling anything online. Win your readers trust and you win sales from them

Hope this helps Enjoy your day!

You have already omitted all the best possible ways through which you get traffic. In order to bring sales to an CPA offer, it is best to promote that using YouTube.

Just put a retargeting pixel on that particular page and BOOM, you can use that pixel on Facebook remarketing ads. Also you can create Lookalike audience as well, to find people who have similar interest.

This is the most profitable way to promote any affiliate product. But if you are trying to keep a strict budget and is not getting the result you want, all you have to do is:

    1. Create an Optin Squeeze page (Weebly, Wix, Wordpress.com) -- Free
    2. Setup an account on Mailchimp (Free Email Marketing application)
    3. Post your squeeze page url on forums, blogs and facebook groups (But make sure not to SPAM)
Try to give value to whatever you say in that post
    4. Bring traffic to that landing page and just get their email ID.

This way you can get sales in the backend.
Also, I have read some article on the internet that seemed to be very much helpful if you are just starting out, if you want to read, you can do so here https://www.flavoursofdigital.com/af...g-for-dummies/

    Hope this helps.

There are so many ways to promote your affiliate links it can be over whelming. I agree with those that suggested a blog but you need to drive traffic to your website. I would suggest you pick one method which you are familar to start with; e.g.,Facebook. Spend time learning how to to use that method very, very well before you start using a second method. Using 1 method well will serve you better than using several methods poorly will.

Sure, you can promote your site to places like classified ads, Facebook groups, forums, etc - by coming in, hopefully making a few useful comments, and then posting your link.

The better plan would be to design a strategy. People are often tired of getting "spammed". To get something of value, you must give value in return before asking for your desired click-through to your website. The same is true when asking for someone's email address, etc.

And if you are promoting an affiliate link to some bigger website, you will definitely need a strategy to engage them first (YouTube videos, blog posts on your own website, etc) to help them see the merit in going where you are trying to direct them. Chances are, they are already aware of the site, so you need to give them specific reasons to go there and buy something through your link. It's more ideal to focus on products in a specific niche. What are you selling via your affiliate link?

I would personally say it would be better to set up a blog to build trust and your credibility about the product. You can also create a review about the product that you're trying to promote so long as your solving a problem.

Think long term rather than just wanting to promote the affiliate link would be better. But that's just my own opinion.
