Starting out with Email Marketing?

Hello, to everyone.

I was curious if any of you guys have any suggestions on starting out with email marketing. Ive watched a lot of videos, read a lot of stuff but im not sure where to start.

Im currently a high school student in the last grade, that works also but my salary isnt that high so i have issues with buying courses, traffic etc.

I recently found about Kartra, and was wondering if its worth going with it to start out with Email Marketing, and on average how much money do i need to invest to start.

Or my other idea was to get up a fitness blog and get people to subscribe to it, from where i can start promoting affiliate products and get comissions.

Thanks in advance,
Cyryl.

Thank you for the clarification on what email marketing is and giving me a more indepth look on the topic , but that doesn't answer my question.

We get a lot of that around here.

Why not start reading in the eMail subforum and using the search function to drill down?

Additionally, your questions are so generic that you would best be served by using Google to search for basic info to give you a foundation on which to seek-out more detailed answers. People giving you supposed 'answers' to your current level of questions are only shooting in the dark. While their answers might be good for them, (and that is what they will be based on), what will those answers have to do with you? Probably, nothing.

You're going about this, completely wrong.

BTW, a fitness blog? If there is one thing that world probably doesn't need even one more of - I think you have hit on it. :-)

You might be right on some of the things you said. Gonna check the subforum and look for a more creative idea for a blog that can grab more attention without being generic.

          Thank you for the answer.

Actually, copying and pasting of articles found elsewhere on the Internet is highly frowned-upon, regardless of whether or not attribution is given.

    Hey cyryl.

Affiliate marketing is selling other's product or services through your link and getting certain percent commission on the sale. For this, you first have to sign up as affiliate for their business.

And you do need email marketing(autoresponders) while doing affiliate marketing because you need to follow with your customers so you can up-sell them similar products on coming days. That's why they say money is on the list.

I am also doing affiliate marketing. I am promoting Clickfunnels, a funnel builder software. It has 14 days free trail and gives 40% recurring commission.

        Sorry if it offend you.

You can find many others affiliate programs (beside clickfunnels). If you are good at blogging, you can write reviews/posts of the products or service and put your affiliate link there.

Email marketing is more about sending helpful emails that solve a specific problem more than anything. Just a medium through which you help folks.

Capturing folk's email addresses requires you to help folks through blogging, videos or podcasts. Plus you can capture emails through squeeze pages. I prefer to fun a self-hosted WP blog to connect with readers. No list building these days but when I did build a list, folks signed up because they dug the content I offered on my blog.

My 2 cents... Blogging is an excellent way to get started with online marketing, of which email marketing is an aspect. Email marketing, as some of the other posts point out, is a way to provide valuable information to your subscribers. Your goal with it should be to be to develop a meaningful relationship with the subscribers on your list, getting them to know, like, and trust you.

Unless I'm mistaken, one of your reasons for wanting to do email marketing is to generate income. This can be accomplished by promoting other people's products, also known as affiliate marketing. Promoting these products afford you the opportunity to build a buyer's email list while making an income.

It is a good idea to start your blog first and then grow your email list in your niche.

Hey, emailing is a good option and let me help you out with it.

For email marketing you need to have the following requirements.

1: You will need a good list and you can get lists online too but i would always ask you to go for opt in lists. They have better ROIs.

2: You will need a good emailing software and I have been using Campaigns+ recently and i have found it to be good. It is a pretty advanced software and i got it for a very low price from there website online. I think it is mumara.com. But you will need to decide whether you need the hosted or self hosted solution and tthey are sort of offering both right now. I am using the hosted platform right now.

3: You will need to automate your emails and once again i use the same software for it. If you will send automated emails which will be sent based on the criteria of your choice. you definitely will have greater Rois. I have been getting a good return so far tbh and this is the principle on which i am earning right now.

4: Make sure you follow good sending practices and ensure that you do not spam. Learn about spamming behaviors and even GDPR compliance if you are targeting Europe.

5: Be persistent and results will show. Nothing good will happen in one day but keep going and everything will start to make sense slowly.

You can pm me for more info.

Email is still the most efficient way for businesses to reach out to their customers. You can decide which email you want to send, at what time and to whom. That, in a nutshell, is what Email Marketing Automation is all about.
Get Started With Email Marketing: Need to Do First-
-Choose an email marketing service provider
-Gather contacts for your email marketing list
-Add your contacts into your email marketing account
    -Set up your welcome email
    -Create a reusable email template
    -Practice writing persuasive messages
    -Spend time on subject lines
-Preview and test before you send
