What are you using to protect your system?
I was wondering what other members use to protect their own servers. I depend mostly on the firewall and frequent backups (with encryption of course). My windows is hooked up to a hardware firewall that only allows traffic according to rules that work for the software. I'm not worried about my non-windows machines because of Apparmor.
I don't use any anti-virus software because I feel they are obsolete. I won't be running anything unsigned or closed anyway so an AV will be useless in my case. What about you?
