Starting App Business Opportunity for Local Businesses

So I'm looking to start a business where I'm offering local businesses the opportunity to have me create an app for them. There's several websites where a person can create an app really easily and I'm definitely seeking to do this. I can make a lot of money doing this. I'm just not sure how to approach businesses and I need an email template. Is there suggestions which you can provide on how I can approach businesses? And are there any email templates that I can send businesses asking them if they are interested in this opportunity? Thanks

You could get started by creating Applications for businesses on Free Lancer, Fourerr, and Fiverr. That way you can put together a Portfolio and gain experience to then approach local businesses and show them.

If you have enough money to start with the business, then why don't you create your own website? Including the skills and experiences, you already have. Also, include your all previous work and apps as an example that you already created for others. And start to get rank for your website, you may easily get the clients when your website will be on top. If you want, you may try the paid advertising on different social media. You may try Google AdWord to get noticed by different local businesses, who are interested to make apps for their business.

Well, Thanks for the suggestion. Ok, so I'm currently working as a freelance writer and I've posted on the sites that you have suggested to get work. But I don't like them at all. They aren't that great because I have to compete with other people to get business. I end up underbidding to get work. I don't like that because of the amount of time that it takes to write something. So that's not the route that I want to go. The route that I was going to go was to directly email the businesses or contact them in other ways. I'm not really interested in posting on Fiverr, Freelance or any other similar websites like that. The competition is too stiff and I think that it would take me too long to build up a portfolio to take to small businesses. I'd like to get started with contacting businesses today. Not months down the line. Thanks, though.

I would think the easiest way would be targeted ads through Facebook or PPC. If you are looking to just "cold connect" with them via email, it might be a little more difficult. Perhaps start by visiting local businesses in your area to discuss with them and get their feedback. This way you will understand their thoughts around this and pros and cons.
