In your opinion what's the best method to menage a classy restaurant page?
The goal here is to grow the page, consolidate the "brand awarness" and obviously get more clients.

I already got some ideas, i'm curious to know how would you approach this job!

Thanks,

Andreas

I would look at what large companies are doing and see how they are doing it and if they are good at it.. it's very easy to search Facebook for large restaurants and compare their likes/engagements

Might be the best way. But isn't the idea of a page to bring in more customers to the place?

You want more clients or do you want more clients for the restaurant? This is confusing.

Are you wanting to use this page as an example of your work? Or to help the restaurant?

GordonJ poses some good questions, Andreas.

If you can fill us in a bit, I'd be happy to chip in.

I think promotion on Social Media is a good way to go. Instagram and Facebook can be the main focus. Having a good social proof and quality content will get you more clients. Especially if your restaurant in a smaller city. Leave your website link in the Bio section and people will visit it to get more info. Brand awareness can be done through quality content. However, restaurant itself should be of the same level that you're trying to promote it. Hope this helps a little bit !

Mate, why don't you start submitting your business on Local Listing sites! Find out your local area's listing sites and submit your business page for free. Start with the GMB and optimize it best, so you can get the top place in the Google Map when people searching for the nearest restaurant. It can help you to start getting traffic to the business, to the page.

You need to start building up 5 star reviews from Yelp. Getting on Facebook and Instagram with pictures of the food, restaurant, specials and Menu.

Sorry for the absence, i was in "forced stop" :\

    All good advices, thanks!
Responding to mr. GordonJ i mean that the target is getting more clients for the restaurant, not for me, but of course in the future i will use the restaurant as a case study

I finished writing the strategy for the restaurant, i must say that was an exciting task.. the work to do is really a lot, as the social channels of the activity is very poor at the moment (not a single CTA in 600+ posts, poor quality content, poor captions and many more issues :\ )

An element of the strategy is creating multiple related "sponsored" pages (quality pages, not churn and burn ones), for example a couple of typical local cousine page, a page about the beautiful area where the restaurant is located etc, growing them with some "grey hat" techniques and using those pages to create a funnel towards the restaurant socials/webpage.
Influencer marketing is included in the strategy too, as i have more than decent contacts in the field.

On the side of that i was thinking about creating multiple "side-pages" too, maybe not closely related to the activity but related to the city where the restaurant is, and using them to mass direct message (targeted) followers about the restaurant, their special offers etc, but i don't really know if this can be a good idea or not.
I'm not worried about the account i'll make, those ones would be disponsable, but i got some reservations about this kind of "semi-spam" techniques.
What do you think about it?

  • Insta is kinda like lookin' in on stuff real casyool.

Scroll scroll scroll -- panorama as a whole.

So mebbe fill up on yummy visuals showin' your cool dishes against allurin' backdrops an' exploit the 3-in-a-row illo format to throw in symmetrically eyecatchin' smarts that pitch your brand alongside the TASTY PIX.

Could be cool quotes pertinent to your niche, could be peripheral imagry, could be links to wider stories happnin' worldwide about whom your brand is positioned to comment upon a la MAX INFLUENCO.

For brand awareness on the social media, you will have to first build your network on social platforms by sharing the latest updates like share dishes (which is available in your restaurant) related post with the image as well as with price. It will help to attract more people to like your pages. For brand awareness on the social media, you will also have to communicate with restaurant management to give special discount to people on dishes if they will like your page.

Wouldn't Instagram influencers be a good idea for this purpose?

Arrange with the owner of the restaurant to have 10-20 "up-coming" lifestyle influencers come dine for free, in exchange for them doing a couple post to their profile about the restaurant experience.

Properly not go for the most popular influencers, as they would properly charge you big bucks to eat for free :-P

I would go this direction, instead of the traditional advertisement way.
