What are the Most Effective Strategies for Developing a Website that Markets Affiliate Products?

Hi there,

Eventually, I want to develop my own authentic products and draw organic traffic to a high quality site to market those products.

However, on the journey to that destination, I want to promote high-quality affiliate products through optimal lead gathering funnels couple with autoresponders. Through this strategy, I want to also direct this (and other) traffic to a site where I can also sale these same products.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to build a quality site with good content, and an actual sales page for displaying these products? How should the products be organized?

How should the site be named? For example, should it include a sub-header that disclaims that the products on the site are sold from an external vendor (i.e. that this site is affiliate products only)?

Advice and suggestions are highly appreciated.

Bests,

GW

You're not going to get any concise answers here for how to do all of that. It could take hundreds of pages and/or dozens of videos to cover the subject. There are many, many courses out there that teach everything you need to know about affiliate marketing. I'd start your journey by taking a course from someone who is reputable.

I think the easy and most true answer is to dive into it, the first site you create probably won't be crazy successful but the idea is you need to learn from the experience. Then take what you learn and start a new site, then do the same, learn as you go.

As for what the site should be named, etc, etc - i think you're over thinking it, just pick something and start running with it. The more time you take with these types of decisions will just hold you back.

You need to jump into it and learn by trial and fire, the best way to learn is by doing this.

Chris, I agree, and diving in is exactly what I've done...just trying to create content as I go along, speaking from the heart, etc...

Hopefully, over time, I can attract natural organic traffic that truly benefits from my products.

The problem is not the site. Anyone can build a great site or have some one build it for you. The problem is traffic. That is good traffic. Understand how to get traffic and you will be able to sell anything. I use video marketing and facebook to direct people to the websites I want them to go to. Hope it helps.

Thankyou, Robert, for your response. Helps a lot. When you refer to video marketing above, what is your preferred method? Do you like to use YouTube? I've recently learned that giving reviews for products is very effective...however, do you know of any other effective strategies?
