Hello there!
Does anyone have any experience using a Facebook Messenger chatbot strategy?

I have clients in the Mortgage industry. Want to help them automate a lead generation process.

    This is rapidly becoming a very widely used tool. There is lots of info on the Internet and on YouTube. I'm just starting to play with these, so I can't offer you any helpful tips, myself.

    Same as any other lead generation & qualification strategy.

    You need to bring in leads from somewhere.

    Then you need to get them to sign up for the bot.

    Then the messages the bot sends and the tree it uses needs to filter those leads who are a good fit from those who are not. The bot can answer FAQs, educate by delivering videos and pdf files, and prompt the lead to the next action step in the process.

    Then the good fit leads need to book a sales call.

      These new 'Messenger Chat Bots' work a bit differently that the older bots. Look at ManyChat and SegMateApp. I'm working with both of these. Very interesting.

    Check out ManyChat.....Very inexpensive and easy to set up.

    Plenty of tutorials on Youtube.

    Facebook chatbots - or any chatbot for that matter - aren't perfect by any means. However, the ways they automate even small business processes demonstrates why chatbot technology is on the rise.


    You may be thinking to yourself, "Wait, I thought the whole purpose of a Facebook chatbot was to remove a human intermediary and free up customer support for other tasks?"

    This is true for the most part, but as humans, chatbots are prone to making mistakes.

    Sometimes a chatbot has difficulty understanding the user's intent. The question may not be clear, or there could be a typo that limits the chatbots ability to answer correctly. Other times, a chatbot can drop the ball completely - and this could end up annoying the user more often than not.

    Invite user feedback

    Customers using your Facebook chatbot could face unexpected issues. This is why you should be proactive about inviting feedback from users. This is especially true for newly-implemented chatbots
