How Can I Get Dofollow Backlinks Through Discussion Forums?

Hi Every One!

I have a website related to fashion and beauty. I want to get dofollow backlink through discussion forums. Every time I join a discussion forum they deny my registration. Please recommend me some beauty discussion forums that can help me link building. The other thing i want to know is what is the best technique we can use in discussion forums to get backlinks?

    Most forums today use 'no follow' links. They are 'discussion forums' - not 'show my link here' forums.


    On this forum, for example, you can (for a $5 payment) have a signature of two lines and you can post a link to your own site in that signature. It is a 'no follow' link.


    Posting links in discussion threads can get you banned as it is considered spam. Reading the rules of a forum when you join will help.

    Forums are no good for link building. It's not 2007 anymore.

    The real question should be "WHY Should I Get Dofollow (as if there is such a thing) Backlinks Through Discussion Forums?" and the answer should be, "don't waste your time".

    Search engines are "smarter" than they used to be. They know the sites where you can place your own links and they do not value links that you can place, yourself.

    You should be much more concerned about how targeted traffic may be from a forum, not whether or not it has a followed backlink. And, of course, you shouldn't be spamming forums with links anyway, which is why yours keep getting deleted (if you're not permanently banned from the forum).

    The only links that matter are ones you earn - the kind that another website CHOOSES to place, themselves, to your site. Any links you can place yourself are pretty much worthless, at best, harmful, at worst.

    For form backlink building I'd suggest you to read forum rules first and then proceed. Dofollow backlinks helps in ranking these days as well.

    Hi Bilal,

    The reason why virtually all forms are No Follow buddy is because people desperately try to GET backlinks through forums, versus GIVING value, making friends, being generous and being themselves.

    If you want links on any forum:

    - give of your knowledge
    - be helpful
    - be generous
    - be kind
    - don't try so hard to GET anything

    Do Follow links are earned, through respected blogs, if you develop your skills over time. Tough to get buddy because most folks are too impatient to practice, and to develop their skills.

    Hey forums are not good for link building. They are giving a no follow link wich you can put in your profile or in the signature. Instead of thinking about link building you can get valuable suggestions from your fellow members and ask them about the new ways. which i think have more cost benefit.

    Forum sites are not bookmarking sites, so backlinking from here is much tough and even is not possible. You won't get dofollow link.

    Should you choose to naturally earn traffic to your website, all you need to do is to faithfully engage in a discussion forum without expecting a backlink. If you are willing to spend some dollars, it can be possible to get a backlink via your signature and a link.

    Both dofollow or nofollow are good for the SEO, but the most important you should share the useful things, not just want to post your link!

      In no-follow links google do not crawl the website while vising the website where you have a no-follow link, no-follow link can only be good for traffic but not for ranking?

    As stated earlier most forums provide no-follow links. But you may say that there are certain forums which still do provide do-follow links. The answer is yes they are present but the links from those forums provides link juice almost equal to zero because their page's are flooded with outbound links. So, ask this question to yourself if you are trying to build links then why bother forums?!!

    Forum backlinks are not affective now. Putting a lot of efforts in building backlinks from forums is not a good option. Instead, you should go for Guest posting and put your efforts there. A lot of people said that most of the forums are now "no follow". Also, a lot of forums submit your website to Stopforumspam.com and google for spamming forums. So, what you can do is, read forum rules carefully, don't hurry, build value in forum, put signature and let links come to your website. Don't make it look clearly like a spam.     The links won't work for ranking but that doesn't mean you can't get traffic from forums. They still can drive huge amount of traffic to your site.

        Yes. If getting traffic is your main intention then do effective forum posting.

    Hi, I learnt some skills and tips and hope it will help.
    1.Build backlinks with patience. It takes time and you should write guest posts on reputable websites in your niche.
    2.Write the right guest posts for the right sites. Only write for highly reputable websites in your niche. Don't waste your time.
    3.Write more than one time for each website. Build a relationship. Put effort into an ongoing collaboration.
